Awake

Iruka barged in to see Naruto awake sitting up on his bed his breathing mask beside him covered in bandages. He was shaking violently his eyes filled with horror and fear. Sakura ran up to him

"Naruto are you ok what's wrong she asked."

As soon as their eyes met he bolted pressing his body against the corner of the hospital walls.

"S-st-stay a-aw-away"

Hinata slapped Sakura away and she ran towards Naruto he visibly calmed down

"Hi-Hinata"

"Yes Naruto-kun"

"A-am i-I dead it doesn't hurt that much-ch any-anymore," he paused coughing violently, "I-I had a night-nightmare the villagers st-started hu-hurt-hurting me-e again like when I-I was little. It hurt s-so much b-but I-I fin-finally di-died I-I was s-so happy they was n-no more p-pain any-anymore."

"Naruto-kun," Hinata said, "you're not dead"

"I-I'm not"

"No you're not"

"Then why am I f-free now"

"You were framed Naruto-kun it turns out the Uchiha raped Sakura not you he admitted it when he showed up at the village not long ago"

"Wh-why didn't anyone b-believe m-me I-I pr-promised I didn't d-do anything w-wrong" he sobbed.

Tsunade went to comfort but he backed away stuttering gibberish clearly afraid.

"Hokage-sama is th-there something y-you need" she was shocked Naruto never addresses her in such a way usually he said 'baa-chan' or some other words they were disrespectful but they showed that he cared that he thought of her as family.

Jiraya shoved her out of the way and walked over to Naruto

"jiraiya is that you"

"What no pervy sage", Jiraya joked trying to lighten the mood "I missed you boy "he said gently hugging Naruto as Naruto blushed lightly embarrassed

"ummm...."

"don't worry Naruto I told you me Hinata ,Shikamaru ,Iruka ,Kiba ,and Gaara wold get you out of there you can tell me anything OK"

"o-ok, c-can we please leave konoha (cough) please"

"Wh-what do you mean by that Naruto" Tsunade exclaimed "konoha is your home where else would you go."

Naruto flinched violently and pressed himself deeper into the corner as if he could just disappear in it. Jiraya glared at her and said in a calm comforting voice

"Why do you want to leave konoha Naruto?"

"Why do you want to leave konoha Naruto?

" I-I d-d-don't want t-t-o b-be ho-hokage anymore be-because t-the villagers al-always hated m-me I-I thought I-it would g-get better b-but know I-I see that I-it n-never will I-I heard the-the th-them when I was going to that place ...............................the-they said that I-I was fin-finally showing m-my true col-colors . n-none o-of my fr-friends but y-you guys believed me, tried t-to save me I-in a-a vil-village lik-ke that."

Everyone was shocked (aka Tsunade and Sakura) he didn't want to be hokage ANYMORE. They had actually broken spirit when this whole village betrayed him.

"n-no more I don't want to be here anymore."

"Okay Naruto" Jiraya said.

"r-really" Naruto said

"Yes really we can all go to Suna together" Gaara interluded

"Th-thank you " and he promptly feel asleep in his mentors arms exhausted by the day.
