Chapter One..."A Friend?"

3rd person/Background information

It was the early 1900's Alastor was getting pushed down by two guys about his age. Alastor was around 7 years old, and all he was doing was looking through the dirt for worms. Alastor usually was bullied because of his skin color and race. He was part Creole French, and he was born to a Creole African American lady and a Caucasian man, and he would typically be bullied because of his race and mixed skin. Alastor was getting bullied, his eyes looked a bit frightened...

Y/N a 6 year old, known to be a freak as well because of your hobby of dissecting things and such and because you're a girl (women were expected to do the cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the children) but you weren't really fond of doing that so you was kind bullied but not physically just mean comments since you are a lady

Y/N's POV

"H-hey you guys l-leave him alone!" You shouted the bullies very nervous you didn't know what you were doing you just wanted to help the poor boy they turned around to face you the one with the rock was about to throw it.

One of the bullies spoke "Why should we listen to you, little lady? He's a creole-African American freak."

You tried not to show any fear at the moment but failed "I-If you don't
th-then I'm going to dissect you a-and rip out your heart!"

The two bullies laughed at you "Ooh, how scary, little lady! Go back to the kitchen." And one of them hit you and you beaten up a bit and then after a while they left.

You crawled up to to the boy who you were trying to help because he was injured as well and asked if he was okay "h-hey are you alright?" You looked at him with worried eyes

"Uhm yea I think so this normally happens so it's alright but thank you for standing up for me" he smiled a thankful that you helped him

"Hold on I'm going to get some bandages and to help you stay here please!" Then you ran off inside to get a med kit

Alastor's POV

'I don't even know this girl nor does she know me but yet she helped me from those bullies...that was really nice of her to do...' I thought to myself couldn't help smiled despite the fact that I was bleeding.

Y/N's POV

I ran back with a med kit I took from the nurse's office...I mean I didn't see anyone there to ask but I did leave a note so it's fine, I went back to the area where the boy was at and thankfully he was still there "hey I'm back" I shouted so he can hear him and so I don't accidentally sneak up on him.

He smiled "hey" he replied I got down to his level, I cleaned the blood off and got some wipes and clean water "this might sting okay?" I start to clean the wound he flinched "sorry!" I apologized 'how did it get this bad to the point where he's bleeding' I thought to myself worried about him and felt bad for him as I saw some of his old scars on his body

Alastor's POV

I flinched when she touched me 'it kind of burn as well? this is going to help me she's just cleaning the wound so it doesn't get an infection' I thought to myself and stayed silent and closed my eyes and soon felt her bandage it up and I opened my eyes and looked at her again then smiled a bit "thank you"

"No problem" she said "but if you don't mind me asking what were you doing digging through the dirt? It looked like you were looking for something" she asked me

"Oh uhm I was looking for worms" I said kind of sheepishly, not knowing how she's going to act, and thinking she might not want to hangout with me or think of me as gross but I was surprised when I heard her reply with "whoa really? Did you find any yet? If so can I please see?!" My eyes widen a bit as I looked at her

Y/N's POV

"Oh uhm sorry" I apologized to him embarrassed 'good job Y/N now you've done it now' I said to myself in my head but he told out a jar out of his backpack and showed me some worms "whoa that's so cool" I was surprised a bit but glad he didn't think I was weird I think and hope he doesn't think I'm weird "uhm do you wanna look for worms together then?" I asked nervously

"Uhm actually yea! Do you wanna be friends actually?" He asked me

'This is so exciting I never had a friend!" I thought. "Yea! My name is Y/N what's yours?" I asked with excitement

"it's Alastor" he replied
