Y/N's POV
I've been hanging out with Alastor and he's really nice so far, at first our friendship was kind of like 'what do friends even do while hanging out' but I think it's gotten better now. We've been looking for worms, I kind of dissected a few but I was curious how many hearts does it have and did all of them have different amounts of hearts or the same amount, they have 5 hearts I think it's kind of cool. I made a friendship bracelet for me and Alastor but I've been too scared to even tell him that I'm scared he'll judge me or something or I just sometimes end up freezing up I just hope he doesn't see me as a freak because of that
Alastor's POV
Y/N is pretty nice but sometimes I kind of worry? Wonder? Yea I wonder why has she been sometimes freezing up? Or like saying 'oh hey Al, uhm I just w-wanted to-..." she pauses for a bit uhm just wanted to ask if you wanted you look for worms or anything other like that!" It was always with this nervous and fake smile...I kind of want to ask but at the same time not to push her...but today I think I'm going to ask hopefully I'm not pushing her too much...and also because there's a carnival and I'm hoping to go with her so we're not always looking for worms
I see Y/N and I wave at her "Hey N/N! How are you doing?" She smiled and walked up to me
"Nothing much how about you Al?"
"Eh you know the usual I guess" I smiled back at her "uhm I got a question"
"Oh what is it?"
I clear my throat "Okay so I've been seeing that you want to ask me something but you back out and just avoid it by asking me if I wanna look for worms so I wanted to ask you what it is"
"Whaattt? Noooooo...it's nothing" she replied with a nervous chuckle fiddling with something being her back...what does she have?
"Y/N..." I said in a kind of stern but yet in a tone that said 'please tell me you're problems I'm here for you and to listen'
"Okay okay! I made us some Friendship bracelets and I've been wanting to ask if you wanted to wear it but then I'm think no you probably don't because you might think it's silly air worse so I've been trying to ask you but then I just stumble over my words" she said quite quickly, so quick that it took me some time to process what had just said
"You made friendship bracelets?" I asked with a bit of interest
Y/N's POV
I nod my head and offer him one of the bracelets, not really expecting him to take it since it was just little beads that were dark red and black and hers were f/c and white and there was half a heart on each one the connected to each other perfectly but to my surprise he actually took it...I couldn't help but smile grateful that he actually accepted it. I hugged him out of pure joy when he put it on he flinched for a second I let go of him sheepishly
"Sorry I guess I just got kind of excited when you took it" I still had my smile but it was obvious it was an embarrassment one
He chuckled "it's okay but there's a carnival here in town I wanted to ask if you wanted to go with me tomorrow?"
My eyes widen a bit "Wait really?"
He nods with a smile "Yes silly"
"Really, really?"
"Yes really, really"
"Really, really, really?"
"Yes, how many more time you going to say that?"
I couldn't tell if he was annoyed so I stop "Okay yea I'm done!" I smiled but then stopped "uhm so tomorrow?" I asked to make sure
He nods "Mhm"
"Alright we'll I'm going back home to go tell my parents about it so bye"
He waved bye to me "Bye Aku! See you tomorrow!"
I started to walk back home, but then I ran back and gave him a hug "Okay for real this time bye!" Then I ran back
Alastor's POV
When she hugged me she didn't give me much time to reach since she let go of me quickly and already run off...I felt my cheeks heat up a bit...'What is she doing to me? Why am I feeling this way?' My heart beat sped up a bit. I shook it off and just went back home to tell my mom how my day went and had a smile on my face...even if it was a sheepishly smile
Time Skip To The Next Day
Y/N's POV
You and Alastor both went to the carnival and have a ton of rides and ate some snacks like popcorn and cotton candy, although and some of the rides Al did get a bit sick after so many rides
"Hey Al? Are you okay?"
"Yep" he covered his mouth a bit "just a bit sick" he muttered
"Hey we can hang out another day" you suggested with a small sad smile
He nods "Bye" he was about to walk off but you grabbed his wrist
"Al...uhm I have a question..."
He looks at you confused, uncovers his mouth, and tills his head a bit "What is it?"
"Uhm do you..." you clear your throat "promise to be friends forever?"
He chuckles "Of course!" He holds out his pinky and you wrap yours around his then raises both your you hands ups bit "Friends till dea- actually friends even pass death"
You chuckle and smile at him "Friends even pass death!" You unwrap your pinky and hug him "Okay but for real but bye Al" you let go of him and skip off home
