My bodyguard~ Magnus (msa)

It was Magnus who knocked on the door.

When Magnus let himself in my room he closed the door and stood over my bed. I slightly jumped at him since he was like 6'5 or something. "Give me it." "What?" I said seeming confused. He knew.

"You know what I'm talking about" Magnus said letting his hands out of his pockets. What should I do now?

"Alright, alright" I said standing up going to my wardrobe. Magnus smiled and followed. "Here" I said passing Magnus his.. "my shirt?" Magnus questioned "I just took it to see what size you are, so maybe I could get you new clothing" I said, before I looked for the key I opened his wardrobe and saw nothing but I decided to take one of his black shirts because why not yk?..🤷🏼‍♀️.

Magnus was definitely confused. "I-oh it's fine you can keep it" Magnus said scratching the back of his head. "So what were you looking for?" I asked, it was the key but I couldn't tell him that. "Uh nothing, I was just checking.. goodnight, miss Marion" Magnus said walking out. No way I tricked him that easily, but I then looked down at what I was holding, oh yeah, his shirt. At least I made a good excuse for it?

Magnus's pov
Was she telling the truth?, no she wasn't. But why did she have my shirt?😏, anyways, I need that key. I guess I'll have to try something else then.

Marion's pov
Phew, I'm so happy he went away, for now anyways. I decided to rest and to think how I would get into Magnus's room, what if I go tonight when he's sleeping? I began to rest and close my eyes thinking when I should go today.

3:47 am
I was thinking of going to his room now but it would be scary but I have to try. I was going to get up until my doorknob twisted.. I forgot to lock my door. I quickly pretended to fall back asleep. I slowly opened my yes but I was squinting just incase they saw me. It was Magnus, MAGNUS? What is he doing here? Oh, I know why, the key. He still doesn't trust me. Magnus began searching all over my room, wardrobe, drawers, everything! But I didn't have anything to hide, what I did have to hide was the key but it was in my waistband of my shorts. "Where is it!" Magnus hissed while looking everywhere. "It can't just disappear?". After he said that last sentence I pretended to yawn "M-Magnus?" I said sleepily but still with my eyes closed. Magnus froze in place and came closer to the bed.

He then stayed silent but held my arms and put me back onto the bed and I still had my eyes closed and after he thought I went back to sleep he left, thank God. I don't think he wanted to wake me up and I don't think he wanted me to even know he was there.

I got up and locked my door this time and went to bed.

The next morning

I woke up and got changed and like usual Magnus was standing at his door. "Good morning, miss Marion" "oh hey Good morning" "how did you sleep?" He asked. "Good but I think I heard someone  in my room last night but I don't really know" "oh, it was probably a dream or something" Magnus said walking downstairs, sure it was..

"Your father wants to talk to you, Jake and I downstairs" Magnus said putting his hand out so I could grab it. "Thank you" I said while he helped me down the stairs, no matter how weird or creepy he is, he will always be so..good looking.

We went downstairs and into the sitting room and there was my father, mother, Jake and now Magnus and I. I sat with my mother while my father had an intense conversation with them.

"I want to know exactly what happened on the night of my party, how is it that a police detective and bodyguard I pay a lot of money to were both at the nightclub and my daughter almost got kidnapped!".

"Jake is interfering with my job and his actions put miss Marion in great danger" Magnus replied " you need to fire him, sir! I've been meeting with the people who previously hired him and they all said the same thing about how great he is at his job!" Jake said with an ice pack to his head, obviously by Magnus. My father now looked at Jake weirdly. "But it sounded fake!, like they've been hypnotised or something" Jake yelled. Everyone looked at Jake like he was crazy except me, what if?.

"That's not all!, a few days ago I saw a tattoo on his wrist, which I traced back to a dangerous criminal group that escaped prison a few years ago, show us your left wrist!" Jake yelled while Magnus's face stayed still. Magnus pulled out both of his wrists from his black glove and neither had any tattoo. "What?, no!, I saw it" Jake snapped. "Jake, I don't know what's going on with you but you need to stay away from Marion, I don't let your crazy theories put my daughters life in danger, let the bodyguard do its job" my dad sighed while rolling his eyes.

"But I'm doing my job too and I know I'm right!"
"I don't remember hiring you for one!, I'm getting a restraining order against you!" My dad yelled while Jake had left. I felt bad for Jake, but what if Jake is being serious? What does Jake have to gain anyways?.

After that whole thing with Magnus and Jake, I hid in my room studying. I still need to figure out a way on how and when to get into that drawer. What could be in there?, msybe maybe something telling me what Magnus's plan is to staying here. Magnus is nice but weird you know?

I then locked my bedroom door so no one gets in.. including Magnus, wait do I still have my key? I went to go change and I when I changed into my pjs I checked my waistband and it was there. One thing that concerns me is that I know Magnus can kick a door down and replace it quick. I remember from him saving me from sleep walking. So I decided to put bells on my door so if he does come in, it will wake me up.

I got into bed and I haven't seen Magnus since the whole fight thing. I got back up and closed my curtains and locked my windows too. I finally hopped back into bed holding the key in my arms, wait. I stopped and took out my phone while I took a picture of the key just incase it does go missing. I then put my key in my waistband since Magnus obviously doesn't know it's there and I heard Magnus's lights flicker off from across the hall so he's probably going to bed too and I began to fall asleep.
