"Marion!" I heard Magnus shout as he flew us back to the edge of the balcony. "ARE YOU CRAZY?" He yelled as I saw a vein protruding from his head. He's mad. Wait, what. We were just flying? "It's true! What I said!"
Magnus sighed and lowered his head as he put me back on my feet. "Do you know how dangerous that was? What if I wasn't a vampire?"
I stood there frozen. I was in shock. Vampires exist? Magnus is one? I quickly began walking backwards back towards the door. "Marion..." Magnus now looked hurt and slowly began approaching me. "Let me explain"
I then held the doorknob still not saying anything. I mean, I was right? "I saw the letter... why did someone threaten you into doing something..?" I asked as he approached me. Now towering over me. "Let's go inside and I'll tell you."
He saw my hesitant look and spoke again. "I promise I won't hurt you, I would never. Please, just let me explain" he said taking a step back to prove what he said. Should I trust him? I sighed and looked back up at him. "Okay..."

Magnus's bedroom remained more of a mess then it usually is. I sat on his bed, making sure I was a fair bit away from him on the bed. "Explain." I bit out. "I will, just promise me you won't tell anyone or you can get hurt, I really do care about you" he looked at me with something in his eye. Sadness?, pain? I nodded before he spoke. "I was originally sent here to capture you...".
