Chapter 1

My name is Y/n, I am a human who lives on Earth and currently goes to school. If I remembered correctly, I am currently a junior and have been getting good grades so far. But there was one problem with me. I actually don't have any friends. A part of me wants to make friends someday, but a part of me likes where I'm at because I felt so proud of myself when I kept getting good grades and my parents are proud of that too. But there were worried about me because I haven't made any friends for the past three school years. Will I spend the rest of my life without any friends?

I honestly don't really know.

But anyways, let's begin where I'm currently at.

Today is the last day of school before summer break. Luckily for us, the last day is short and is always the best day because I really can't wait to go home and relax after another long school year!

I was currently in class, but I was really excited to finally be out of here.

Even though I was actually able to get some people to sign my yearbook, I kind of don't consider them as my friends. More like acquaintances.

But anyways, I was currently watching people hanging out, watching movies, or playing a game called Just Dance in these classrooms.

Which is a game that I've never played before.

It's just a way for us to celebrate our final day! No homework, no gym classes, no studying, no quizzes, nothing.

Anyways, I just let the time go by and then after like two or three hours later, the final bell rang! We all cheered and left the school!

I was currently walking home with a smile on my face!

School was finally over!

I was so excited to do a lot of fun things this summer!

Like for example, going to the beach, swimming, playing sports, and playing some video games.

Once I got home, I opened the door and threw my yearbook on the counter.

"Mom and Dad! I'm home!" I said.

"Welcome home, Y/n! How was the last day of school?" My Mom asked.

"It was great!" I said while smiling.

"Son, we would like to show you something." My Dad said.

"Can it wait until later? I really want to go rest and play some video games." I said.

My parents looked at each other and then nodded.

"Sure, we can show you later. We're in no hurry." My Mom said.

"Yay! Thank you!" I said.

My parents were really worried about me.

I headed on upstairs and went to my room. I then grabbed my Nintendo Switch and started playing SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake!

I actually beat this game before, but I wanted to start fresh. So, I started a new game progress and began playing.

After like two or three hours later, I eventually stopped. So, I saved my game, turned off my switch, and put it away.

It was actually the evening now. So, I went downstairs and asked my parents what we're having for dinner tonight.

And they said we were going to have some pizza for dinner!

I was so excited because I love pizza! It's my favorite food!

I asked them if they can order my favorite and they said yes.

I even thanked them for it.

After a while later, we all ate, but I really need to know what they wanted to show me.

"So, Mom and Dad. I want to know. What is it that you wanted to show me?" I asked.

My Dad sighed and said.

"Well, son. It's just that we've been noticing that in school, you haven't been making any friends. Why is that?"

"I don't know I just haven't been interested all that much. I've only been interested in getting good grades." I said.

"And we are proud of you for that. But is this how you're going to spend the rest of your life? Being single and not having any friends?" My Mom asked.

I sighed and said.

"I don't know."

"Well, you see. This is what we wanted to show you." My Mom said.

They gave me a flyer.

For a summer camp.

"A Summer camp?" I asked.

"Yes, we just think it will be best for you. This will be the best chance for you to actually make some friends." My Mom said.

"But...what about the other stuff I've been wanting to do this summer?" I asked.

"It's okay, Y/n. It's just for two weeks. After it's all over, we can continue doing fun stuff together. I promise." My Mom said.

I really love my parents and we always love doing fun stuff together in the summer.

But, it looks like I probably don't have a choice with this summer camp.

But I think I'll do it.

"Fine, I'll go." I said with a smile.

"Okay, Y/n. We'll call them and the bus will come get you in two days." My Dad said.

"Okay, Dad." I said.

I then went upstairs and held the flyer in my hand.

Once I got to my room, I looked further into it and saw that it has a lake, cabins, campfires, sports, and a bunch of people hanging out.

It definitely looks great!

I really love camping! And I can't wait to have s'mores also by the fire!

But there is one thing.

"Who the fuck names their camp called, "Camp Ivannakummore?!"" I shouted.
