Chapter 6 „A game?"

The next morning, Winter got up earlier than usual. He woke everyone and together they made a plan. Peril and Turtle would go to Seawing and Skywing Kingdom. Winter was about to ask Qibli to go with him, but Moon was quicker and decided to go with Qibli. Winter was so angry that he felt fire in his chest. They both go to Sandwing Kingdom. Winter goes to Rainwing Kingdom with Kinkajou. Clay wanted to help, so he goes with Winter and Kinkajou to Rainwing Kingdom and then on to Mudwing Kingdom.
They flew into the sky to their destinations. Kinkajou was, as usual, an annoying dragon with lots of questions and not really funny jokes. Winter was about to go mad while Clay laughed at her jokes. Eventually Winter saw Rainwing Kingdom. Winter and Kinkajou said goodbye to Clay and agreed to meet again at the Jade Mountain Academy.
Winter and Kinkajou landed and went to see Glory. When Glory saw them, she greeted them happily with a smile. Kinkajou was glad to see her queen. Glory asked Kinkajou what she needed, and Kinkajou explained everything. Glory said they should talk about it inside, not out. When they returned to Winter, they saw him and Deathbringer staring into each other's eyes, as if they wanted to fight. Glory quickly stood between them:
"What are you two doing? Stop it!"
"Glory, I don't believe this young dragon. He could be a traitor!"
"Deathbringer, he is our friend and guest. He has helped us save many lives. We all know him. He is safe!"
Deathbringer moved away from Winter and let him enter the Glory's secret place. Winter explained why he needed this information and what it could mean. Glory replied:
"I believe you, Winter. I will give you all the information about the Rainwing Kingdom. I will even give you some information about the Nightwings who live in my territory. But you must keep them safe. There is a new danger out there!"
"I know, and I thank you, Queen Glory," Winter replied.
„YES! Thank you my queen!" Kinkajou yelled.
They flew back to the Academy. Deathbringer asked Glory how she could give Winter such important information about her kingdom.
"Glory! He could be someone who works for IT! He is broken. He has no brother or father, he is an exiled prince, and he has no love. Our kingdom is not safe now! And how did he know of a new danger, of IT?"
Glory turned back to Deathbringer with a smirk.
"I am not stupid, Deathbringer. I gave him false information. I knew from the beginning that he was lying. There is no logic that our number of soldiers and secret bases can show prophecy and destiny. So I played a little game."
Deathbringer opened his mouth and eyes as if he saw an angel. He embraced her and said:
"You are the queen everyone should be proud of! And I mean that."
Glory smiled and hugged him as well.

Inside Winter, he was so happy. He felt anger and vengeance. Now he had everything he needed to become a ruler and show everyone his power. He is not broken, just stronger and ready for a real challenge!

Back in the Icewing Kingdom, Hail and Icy must find a way to sabotage it. They must later accuse Queen Snowfall and take the throne. Hail has made a plan. He will use a dark magic that Emperor Omega gave him. With this magic, he can turn everyone to his side with a single speech. He called all the young and strong dragons of the Icewing Kingdom to come to his speech tomorrow and rebel against Queen Snowfall. Now Hail is laughing, laughing like he has never been so happy. Icy just watched. He never knew it would go this far. He just wanted peace and to make Hail happy and feel important. But he sees this is going in the wrong direction.

663 Words! Are Winter and Hail gonna get what they ever wanted? Is Winter turning bad? Is Hail going to make it, to overthrow queen? Does Glory really have a plan to stop IT, a new danger? I guess we will find out!
