"Let's go."

I start to lead the way to the village as I brew the potion on the way. Kera helps me with most of the ingredients as we walk.

We reach the village a few seconds before the potion was finished. We stopped in front of the gate and I give you the potion for you to drink.

You drink the potion and you transform into a human version of yourself to other eyes.

I take you hood and keep it draped over your head. I put your hand in mine, I feel you freeze up slightly from the touch but you soon relax.

I place Benny on your shoulder and I keep Otto on mine. We walk in through the gate.

As soon as we enter the gates and step onto the stone pathway Kera froze and her eyes shot every which way.

I turn to her. "Are you okay?" I say worried.

She clings to my chest and starts to choke up on her words. "I-I can't see  an-anything."

I take your chin to get you to look into my eyes.

"Your eyes don't look any different and that wasn't one of the side effects that could have happened." I said confused and worried.

"Scarlet.. I was always blind," she gulped, "I always saw through the trees. There are no trees here. It is all stone. I can't see anything."

She started to spiral and tear up. Her voice was shaky and full of anxiety.

I looked at her with sorrowful eyes and pull her closer to me. I hold her face only hands and wipe away her tears with my thumbs.

"It will be okay. You have me, and nothing bad will happen." I reassured her.

She looks at me hopefully. "You promise?"

I smiled softly at her. "Yes, I promise."

She started to straighten up and lift her head high again, still holding onto my arm.

She was clinging to me so much to the point where people could think we were dating. I didn't mind though.

She was were walking she stumbled a few times and I had to catch her. She was starting to get more confident with each step.

She smiled to herself as she got more comfortable with walking on stone. I smiled down at her when I glanced at her.

She tripped again and landed on my chest.

"Are you okay?" I asked worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said stubbornly.

She started to walk again. She was walking the wrong way.

I pulled her back to me.

"Wrong way." I said with a hint of playfulness.

"I knew that." She said.

"Really?" I said with a huge smile on my face.

"....No.." She said reluctantly.

"Thought so." I chuckled softly.

"Just be my eyes already." She muttered. I clearly heard her, but........ Oh well.

"what was that?" I asked playfully, cupping my ear.

"Be my eyes."
