"What now?" I asked, staring at the TV as the show Modern Family played on it. Hannah had watched this show a hundred if not, a thousand times already. I know how it's going to start and I know how it's going to end, in full details. I groaned, seeing Tyl Burrell's face the hundredth time for this year. "Girl, can't you just watch something else? How I Met Your Mother? I don't know, Big Bang Theory? Young Sheldon? The Office?" I whined, looking up at the ceiling. "Family Guy?"

Her face twisted and gave me a sideway glance. "Family Guy? Cartoon? I don't watch those."

"It's not like it's for kids though."

"This is my comfort show..." she murmured, hugging the throw pillow so hard that it might get squished.

"You don't watch a comfort show for hundreds of times."

She glared at me. I shook my head, giving up. There's no point in arguing with her because I know damn well I don't have any chance of winning. And whatever, if that's what she wants, I'll let her be.

I buried my face on my hands, my elbows resting on my thighs. "I wanna go out," I griped, fake sniffling.

"Then go out," she uttered, eyes on the TV.

"But I wanna go out with you..." I pouted.

Her eyes narrowed and side-eyed me. "Bestie... you're 26 not 16."

I plopped my arms on her shoulders. "Please, I don't want to get lost."

"Google maps exists?"

"You know what happened when I used google maps, right?"

"You got lost and almost never got home... right." She let out an exasperated sigh.

I suck at directions and I'm also very very oblivious of my surroundings that's why I'm most likely to get kidnapped and die. I didn't experience that though, I just got lost, in a deserted street in California, left my money and bag back at the hotel because I just wanted to buy some coffee and I only have the exact amount, and only phone with me, I thought I was going to be homeless and die but I eventually got back to our hotel thanks to a dude who helped me with the directions.

I hope that man's dinner today is good.

I have never been so thankful my whole life.

I have no idea how I even got to the age of 26 because of how stupid I am.

I blame that for my lack of sleep. And Tiktok. It's slowly making my brain deteriorate. My attention span sucked too.

"Come on, let's not waste our time and rot here in our hotel room, let's go out, I wanna go to the tower thingy here." I gripped her shoulder, slowly snaking my arms around hers.

"Tower thingy? You mean the Space Needle? Did you do your research before coming here?"

I frowned. "No. I mean, you pulled me here and I'm not even interested in exploring this city, but now I'm curious what it's like to be in that tower thingy."

"Space needle," she corrected.

"Why the hell is it even called space needle? It doesn't even look like one."
