"You done for today ?" My trainer Mr. C asked
"Yeah" I said as I took my gloves off
"Alright bet, you have a match coming up in 3 weeks so we gone start training for that Monday. You don't gotta come in tomorrow" he said causing me to nod
"Ight"
"Be safe Kade, and please don't get into any fights this week" he said letting me know he'd spoken to my dad
I shook my head "I gotchu Mr. C" I dapped him up before walking to the back of the gym towards the locker rooms
"You can take me home ?" Zay asked with his duffle on his shoulder
"Yea I gotchu" I said while grabbing my stuff
"Watchu doing today ? I might just run around with you" he said causing me to laugh
"Yo ass always trynna run around wit me" I said as we walked out the living room
"Gots too, you my day one" he chuckled
"Ain't really on shit, was suppose to go see Yas"
"Y'all together yet ?"
"Hell nah, we just friends"
He looked at me before laughing "Ight"
"What you laughing for ?" I asked unlocking my car door
"Nothing, but I need you to take me to the mall" he said getting in the car
"You got gas money ?" I asked closing the car door and put my duffel into the back
He smacked his lips " I gotchu nigga"
Zay and I been friends since we were kids, we met in kindergarten and even fought one time because he was questioning why I always had "earplugs" in my ears. I thought he was trynna make fun of me but the nigga really thought they were ear plugs. After the long suspension we had due to us fighting, we ended up talking and actually being Friends.
When we got more close, he was one of the first people I told that I was deaf and after that we've been cool since.
I chuckled "I'm just playing, you know I'll take you"
It was a quick 15 minutes drive to Zay house since it wasn't too far from the Gym.
"Alright, imma come back for you after I get Yas. I just needa go home and take a shower" I said dapping Zay up as I pulled into his driveway
