"So how did the talk go with you and Kaden ?" Kay'Lani asked Yasmine who sat at the counter infront of her

Lani was cooking while Yasmine did her homework and they have their daily girl talk.

Lani knew Yasmine had feelings for Kade, they had a whole talk about it and Yasmine confirmed that she did, but of course Geo had no clue since Geo could be Geo at times.

"There was no talk. He acted as if he didn't even know what I was talking about" Yas said rolling her eyes

"Really ?"

Yas nodded before sighing "How did you and my brother started dating ?"

"It honestly just happened, he was the only one there for me when I was going through my eating disorder, he helped me get better and I guess the feelings just developed" Lani explained

"Maybe you should give him some time. You guys have been friends since you were kids so I get what he means by that" she added

"I don't know Lani. I don't think he sees me like that, maybe I should just let go of any thoughts of us being together"

"What y'all in here talking about ?" Geo asked walking into the kitchen holding a sleeping Azalea and their son Armani walking behind them

"Nothing. Hi my babyyy" Lani said smiling at her son who held a bouquet of red roses in his hands

"Good afternoon mommy" he said handing her the roses

"Awww thank you, your so sweet" she said kissing his face

She grabbed the roses from him and he ran off out the kitchen.

"Stop running" Geo said to him causing him to stop

"Thank you bae" Lani said kissing Geo's lips

"Your welcome mama" he spoke before walking out the kitchen to put Lea in her bed then returned back to the kitchen

Lani prepped the roses before placing them in a vase with water.

"How was yall day" Geo asked kissing Yas forehead

"Good" Yasmine replied

"It was Good. I'm working the night shift tonight" Lani said causing him to shake his head

"Again ?" He asked folding his arms and leaned back on the counter watching her cook

"Yup"

"You don't think you should take a break ma ? You be gone from 9pm to when it's time to pick Yas up from School 2pm" Geo said causing Lani to roll her eyes

"I've been working extra shifts, what's the problem ?" Lani questioned

"You barely home ma, and you get any sleep"
