CHAPTER 15

RADHIKA'S POV:

Not only me but everyone was very much curious to know what's going on. A huge gossip has started here. People had even made groups to guess the upcoming breakout just like in our school times. The media is also waiting for them. Even Anvika and Siddarth have also become tensed now as it's been thirty minutes after the two families had gone upstairs. Now my family also went upstairs.

What's going on here?

Did the marriage got cancelled? Or postponed, I guess?

Then why are they still not coming out?

What are they doing? Did something happen?

What is my family doing there?

I was deeply thinking about these things when suddenly I heard a voice from behind. Coming out of my thoughts, I turned around and saw Myra Bhabhi. I immediately jumped from my place and asked her "Bhabhi what's going on? What happened? Why did .........." I bursted a huge number of questions but she stopped me and told in a normal tone

"You will get all the answers to your questions but for now just come with me."

Seeing her tensed and dull face, I just nodded my head and followed her. Siddarth Bhai looked at me and Bhabhi and asked "Where is Aditya?"

"He is in his room" Bhabhi replied.

"Okay" Siddarth bhai replied and ran to the upstairs. "I also want to come, Bhabhi" Anvika said.

"No, you wait here" Bhabhi replied and took me with her.

I was now feeling uneasy. Something is going to happen. I turned back a bit and looked at Serena and Anvika who was already looking at me and then I followed Bhabhi.

I entered a room in the upstairs and saw my family along with Samrat uncle with a fully tensed environment. Everyone's face was dull and sad. But my brothers were angry and irritated, I guess.

When I entered the room, everyone looked at me and Samrat uncle excused himself "Please Rajkishor, don't force her" and he left.

My papa nodded and came towards me.

"But papa......." Ayansh bhai said but papa stopped him and turned towards me. I was nervous, even tensed, and even scared. I looked into my papa's eyes, his gaze meeting mine. The eyes full of guilt and sadness.

"Beta.......... Marry Aditya" papa said to me and my eyes became wide listening to this. I WAS SHOCKED.

I was unable to form words now. My whole body was trembling and I was shivering. I think I have heard it wrong. Controlling myself, I asked "What?"

"Beta please. I know it is very sudden but marry him" papa replied.

I looked at my father's eyes to search if this was a prank or something. But no. I then looked at everyone but they were silent. Even my maa also.

My eyes completely got filled with tears. I was not having the strength to stand anymore. I was tightly holding my papa's hands and my head down and everyone in the room waiting for my answer. Slowly a lone tear fell down from my eyes on my father's hand.

Immediately my father cupped my cheeks and made me face him and said "Beta I am not forcing you. It's your decision."

I took the courage to form some words and said "No papa, I can't marry him. I am sorry."
