The first chapter of Volume 2, could we reach 30 votes?

The week went the same as usual, hung out with others (Amasawa, Nozomi-senpai, Kiryuin-senpai, Asahina-senpai, Nagumo, Chiaki, Hirata, Naruhaya, Minamikata, Kamuro, Nishino, So, Ryuji, Amikura, and Honami), worked out with my gym partners, we did 2 study sessions, I had soccer practice ever night training for our tournament the next weekend, and Hoshinomiya-sensei was more friendly with me than usual. The day unfolded as any other Friday, with our routine Student Council meeting looming on the horizon. However, the events of the preceding day, marked by a confrontation with Horikita

The atmosphere in the Student Council room was calm as I entered, and Horikita acknowledged my presence with a polite inquiry.

"Ah, Ayanokoji, what brings you here?" he said, rising from his seat. "Would you like something to drink?"

Declining the offer, I got straight to the point. "No, I won't be here that long. I was curious if we could enroll another member into the Student Council."

Horikita raised an eyebrow in interest. "I see, and who might this new member be?"

"Masumi Kamuro, Class 1A."

His expression shifted as he contemplated my suggestion. "I see. What qualities do you see in her?"

"Hmm, I'm not sure, just a hunch."

Horikita, ever the pragmatic leader, voiced his concerns. "We have yet to see what Nishino has in her. Are you sure you want to bring another person to the table?"

"I've been around her long enough to see some good qualities," I replied cryptically.

"Didn't you just say you didn't know?"

"Who knows."

Horikita sighed, clearly resigned to my enigmatic responses. "Very well, I'll allow it. However, if either of them doesn't show results, one will have to leave."

"Got it." The agreement was made, and I left the Student Council room with my mysterious motives intact

Horikita took the lead in addressing the group.

"Alright, we are here for our daily Student Council meeting. I am pleased to announce our newest member. Please introduce yourself," he declared, officially welcoming Masumi Kamuro to the team.

Kamuro rose from her seat at the end of my side. "Hello, I am Masumi Kamuro from Class 1A, and I am a part of the committee. Please, to meet everyone"

Ichinose and Nishino appeared pleased to have more members on the committee. After my recent conversations with Asahina-senpai and Honami, they seemed more relaxed and had returned somewhat to their usual selves in the council room. However, it was evident that they still maintained a level of wariness around certain individuals. Also over the past days I have seen Nagumo and Wako glance at Ichinose every now and then, it seems that they are planning something.

Horikita nodded in acknowledgment of Kamuro's introduction. "Welcome, Kamuro. We're pleased to have you on board. Now, let's move on to our agenda for today."

Horikita then handed out papers to Nagumo and me, instructing us to pass them along to our respective subordinates.

"As you can see, the school has approved Ayanokoji and Karuizawa's idea. Thanks to the cooperation of the school, it seems we will be able to host this event," Horikita announced, his eyes scanning the contents of the paper.

"The document mentions turning it into a special exam," Wako observed as he read through it.

Horikita explained, "Yes, the school sees it as an opportunity to engage more students. I will provide a brief overview of the Seven-day Organization Event Exam."
