They had found the last person who had been in contact with her...

This man lives in France, his name is Julien and he did not hesitate to come here, in London, to answer their questions. One of the police officers opens the door to let in a man, quite mature, tall, blonde with short hair, blue eyes and a beard surrounding his face. He seemed overweight but was not lacking in charm. She saw him, seemed to know him but unfortunately did not recognize him.

When Julien approached her, she had a slight recoil. Gwen asked everyone to get out of the room because it was too much for her, she needed to be alone. Once the room was emptied of its occupants, Gwen felt distraught and alone. She blamed herself for having had this movement towards this man because he seemed sweet and kind, but more importantly she felt in her that there was something between them. For several minutes she searched her memory without more results and that exasperated her.

Gwen could no longer try to remember so she asked that Julien come back so that he could find out more. Julien stood there, two meters from her. None of them dared to start a conversation. Julien broke the silence with one of his stupid questions he used to « How are you? » which made Gwen smile without really knowing why. Without bothering to answer her question, she asked him to tell him how they met, since when they know each other, and a multitude of other questions. During the hour that followed, Julien walked through the play, pacing, explaining everything that had happened between them, from their meeting to Gwen's rushed departure. Looking at this man talking to her and trying to help her, she felt soft warmth and deep self-confidence. Despite all of Julien's efforts, no specific memory emerged from Gwen's mind. But despite the frustration, he made her smile and laugh with her clumsy and shy behavior. Her head hurt her and after all these memory efforts, she was starting to get tired so she asked Julien if she could stay alone for a few hours. They made an appointment the next morning and Julien promised to come back as long as she wanted.

The night was full of dreams and nightmares for Gwen, his childhood in Thailand, his relatives, the break with his ex, the accident, ... but still nothing on the night preceding the accident. The awakening was confused, but she knew her memories were there. She managed to remember the number of her family who remained in Thailand, she reassured them and asked them not to come because the trip was too expensive. As promised Julien came back. He had brought flowers, daisies, pastries and multiple hot drinks because he didn't know what she preferred. His clumsiness, kindness and shyness touched Gwen more and more. It felt good for her to have her by her side but she felt guilty that he made all this way for her. Julien explained to him that since their meeting, he had definitively left his ex-wife, as well as his job to devote himself entirely to writing. He told her that it was thanks to her that he had had the courage to do all this because during their conversation at the airport, she had encouraged him to live his dreams. She couldn't believe she was able to influence Julien's life to such an extent. But she was delighted because he seemed fully fulfilled and happy. They stayed talking all day together between doctors and police visits. Then the hours became days and then a week. She went on to care and rehabilitation. But today the doctors brought her good news because she could leave the hospital.

Julien had come to pick her up at the exit of the hospital. He had booked a hotel room for Gwen at the same place where they had spent their wonderful nights. He thought maybe that would help him regain the memory of recent events that had happened before the accident. They had gone to recover all the personal effects of the young woman. Gwen was tired of forcing herself to remember and it was frustrating not to regain her memories. She had walked through the hotel, her memory was not coming back. She thanked Julien then, tired of all the efforts, she fell asleep on the bed of their night.
