"Bye Italy." I whispered as I looked out the window full of disappointment.
I didn't want to leave this place, it was literally heaven on Earth. Everything was so simple here. There wasn't anything to worry about. I guess that's why they call it vacation.
Sadly, our trip was cut a little short. We only got to be here for four days rather than the seven we had planned. Management called Harry and demanded he came back to the UK for some promoting before they leave.
He offered to blow off his job and suffer the consequences, but how could I let him do that after everything he has done for me? I've gotten so much closer to him in these four days than I could have gotten with family in a life time. It was almost scary, but it felt so right.
I looked back out the window of the small private plane once more. Even the airport had a type of beauty to it and it's concrete, people, and planes. One day, maybe i'll get to come back and stay. But right now, I guess it isn't my place.
"I'm sorry." Harry said for the millionth time, slightly brushing his lips against my right ear. I looked at him, his eyes were full of sorrow. I know he didn't really care that he had to go, he was only upset because I was.
I held his hand and smiled at him. "Don't worry about it, please. I'm happy anywhere as long as i'm with you."
I could tell he was reluctent to listen to my words, but he did anyways.
"So, are you getting excited for tour?" I said in a happy manner, trying to spark some conversation between us.
"Actually, I am." He started with a wide smile. "Touring is hectic and sometimes a pain, but it's something I love. I guess i'm into challenges." He said the last sentence with a wink, referring to me.
"Pft. I'm perfect!" I said rolling my eyes like a diva before I began laughing at Harry's disagreeing expression.
"I don't want perfect, so don't say you are." He explained.
"That was the most unromantic thing I have ever been told." I said before bursting into fits of laughter once more.
"Hey hey hey" He said, raising his hands in defense. "I just don't want you to think you have to be perfect. So many girls think they have to be and it's ridiculous." He explained.
"I'm not like other girls." I told him, shrugging slightly.
"Believe me, I know." He said before giving me a small peck on the lips.
Normally at this point in a relationship I wouldn't feel anything, but every time Harry even touches me, I feel like I could walk on water. Something about him keeps me wanting more, wanting to get closer to him. Hell, I've disregarded so many of my rules for him.
"UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!" Harry moaned loudly as the voice on the intercom woke him up from his peaceful slumber.
"Come on Curly, just get up. We're minutes from landing." I told him while pushing his hair out of his face slightly and kissing him on the cheek.
"Curly?" I said, raising a brow at me.
"Yep." I said, not understanding why he would question it. I'm pretty sure he knows that his hair isn't straight.
"Since when do you call me curly?" He asked while sitting up groggily.
"Since I met you. Maybe not out loud. But I had to call you something other than 'drunk stranger who fell asleep on me'" I teased.
"Hate you." He said, trying not to smile.
"Love you too babe." I said, winking at him.
"We have now landed in London. Please remember to grab all of your carry on items and enjoy your stay!" A voice said through the speakers.
I sighed and stood up along side Harry. "You know, I really don't understand why they announce things like that when it's only us on the plane. I mean, all they have to say is thanks and we've landed." I said.
Harry laughed at the point I had made. "You are surely something else. Let them be courteous, geeeeeeze."
I rolled my eyes at his response and began walking off the plane while Harry grabbed his carry on bag.
"I like those jeans." Harry spoke from behind me. "Your ass looks nice." I turned around to see him smirking.
"You're such an idiot." I said, grabbing his arm and pulling him next to me.
"Hey, you could take the compliment." He said, giving me a hard time.
"I'm telling Louis that you've been cheating on him." I joked around in hopes that he would change the subject.
"No! Don't tell BooBear!" He said looking terrified. I laughed and continued to follow security the rest of the way through the airport. If it wasn't for them we'd have to go through crowds of people just to get our bags.
Soon enough, they lead us to car that contained a driver and probably the boys. I couldn't be sure though because no one was yelling or jumping out.
Harry went to open the door, but instead was knocked on the ground due to Louis pushing it open. I just stood there and shook my head.
"I missed you!" Louis shouted, helping Harry up. They had their little reunion and decided to get back into the car.
"And i'm chopped liver." I said loud enough for him to hear as I got into the car.
"Obviously, you stole my man." Louis said whilst folding his arms across his chest. I just rolled my eyes.
"Where are the rest of the boys?" I asked, not wanting to be a third wheel.
"At the hotel, I kind of snuck out. We were supposed to wait for you guys to get there before we did anything." Louis explained sheepishly.
I couldn't help but laugh. "You must enjoy trouble." I said quietly before looking out the window and letting the boys talk. I couldn't always be the center of Harry's attention.
As I continued to look out the window, I could tell the difference between the two countries. It only made me wish we didn't leave.
Maybe that was the only place I could actually be happy. I mean, Harry obviously made me happy, but something was still missing. Not there though, when we were gone everything was perfect. I was on cloud nine.
If only I knew what was different here, if only I knew what was making me unhappy.
I guess that doesn't matter though. Harry comes before me right now, I owe him more than he even knows. After all, this did start out as me using him. And maybe I still am in some way. But God, I hope not.
I just wish my mind would make itself up and tell me who I am and what i'm doing. It wouldn't surprise me if I was bipolar.
For now, I guess I have to live in the moment.
