They reached the village before sunrise and settled in Roy's mother's house for the time being. First thing Roy did was to have a good nap.
Jake once used to be a good friend of Roy but he chose to betray him, so he got what he deserved. Killing was not only surviving instinct but also the passion of Roy, as it is the most amusing thing for him. Last time he found something amusing was his ex but what happened to her? She also cheated and Roy was very possessive for his things, it won't be a big deal if she ended up the same way as everyone who betrayed him...
Roy went to sleep, he started dreaming. "Huh? What a drag! Damn it! Do I really have to see this dream again? Although I know it's a dream but still... I don't like the way things goes in this dream. I have seen this dream many times, so I hope it won't be so difficult this time..."
He heard a voice coming from behind. "Here we go again..." He thought, because he knew whose voice it was. A soothing melody. The voice of a woman was like gentle breeze, so relaxing to hear. She was singing an English lullaby in asian accent. He turned and found himself into the very same house, where he is sleeping now. The sound of beautiful symphony echoed across the hallway. He started walking towards the room where the voice was coming from. He opened the door and found a beautiful woman holding a 2 or 3 years old child in her embrace, singing the lullaby to make him sleep, which was disturbed by the sudden "mom?" He tried to contact to the woman in her dream. She quickly turned towards him and let out a sudden ear piercing shriek. So loud that could make anyone go deaf.
He finally woke up and grasped a few breathes before sitting up straight. "What the hell!? Old Women! You are still haunting this house? After so many years? Aiyaah! You almost made me deaf. Which mother haunts her own son like this? Huh? Forget it. No matter what you do. I am not leaving for sure. You see I am a cheeky brat like you always used to call me..."
Hearing some sound, David woke up and went to check on Roy and accidentally saw him talking to himself. "...Are you okay, bro?...", "...No. I am hungry..." It was around evening and they both were hungry, David called asked the housekeeper and learnt that there is a new small restaurant nearby at a walking distance.
The weather was a bit cloudy so David said he will get some food for both of them. He didn't knew what came into his mind but he said he insisted on going together.
The reached the restaurant and sat on a table. The restaurant was empty and only they were there. A man who was probably the owner, came to take their order. After taking the order the man quickly get to work. While making the food he asked,
"sir I am new to this village but I've met almost everyone here, how come I never saw you? Are you also new?"
Roy wasn't in the mood to talk. He just sat there with his eyes closed. So David replied for them,
"Well, no, we aren't new here. This is my friend's hometown, we just came after too long." He said while pointing towards Roy.
Weather seemed to have gotten darker,a sound of door opening catch everyone's attention. Roy opened his eyes only a bit just to have a sneak-peek that it's no danger.
From the door, entered a red-haired girl. That must be another customer like them, they both thought. The restaurant owner saw her and said, "Oh, you are finally back. I was starting to worry that if it starts raining, I might need to pick you up."
She didn't replied but smiled, she also noticed the customers and bowed to them.
"Now sit down on the table, I'll get you something to eat." He shouted from the kitchen.
She sat down on the table next to Roy and David's. David was starting to get bored while sitting quietly because Roy was not interested in talking at all. After getting the food served, the owner also sat down on the table where the girl was sitting.
David curiously asked, "So you are new here? And who is she to you?"
"Oh, she is my sister. Her name is Lee Rachael. We are our only family." David looked at her and she just smiled, he said "Hello miss Rachael. Nice to meet you. I am David."
She smiled again and nodded, but didn't said anything.
Hearing this conversation, Roy opened his eyes, although he was consentrated on food, he looked at them, as if he now was interested in talking.
"The food is good." He said, as he looked at her. Bright red hairs, slightly longer then the shoulder level. 'Tomato' came to his mind, by looking at them. They all were talking expect for the girl. She seemed to be not interested in talking, her head was down and covered by her bangs so he couldn't see her face. She was scrapping in a sketchbook, maybe drawing something.
While talking, the restaurant owner told that his name is Lee-Haneul. And they came from Seoul.
David why did they come to such a remote village? For what he replied, we wanted a peaceful life and this village was very beautiful.
Upon hearing that he looked at Rachael and asked, "And what about you Rachael? Did you not wanted to make a good career in Seoul?"
On this question, she just shacked her head in a gesture of 'No'.
Roy was also looking at them, "Why don't you speak? Are you a mute or something?"
David nagged, "Roy! Don't say it like that, it's rude."
At which Haneul chuckled, "No sir, she is not a mute, she just don't like talking much, that's it." The chit-chat went by but the girl didn't spoke.
They were almost done eating, and they didn't realised when it started to rain so heavily. They couldn't stay at the restaurant because Caesar would have already reached home and not finding Roy there would make him very anxious. And they also knew that staying for too long won't do any good as well, because the rain doesn't looked as it would stop tonight. After too much discussion, they finally decided to leave.
As they walked out of the door, the girl stood up and offered an umbrella to Roy. Lee-Haneul spoke fro behind, "sir please take those umbrellas or else you'll get wet." Someone as arrogant as Roy himself, he originally planned to deny and leave coldly, but at that very moment, he finally saw her face. It was beautiful. He quickly analysed her figure.
She was a petite girl around 19-20, pale skin with rosy lips and her hairs makes her stand out in the crowd, although she seemed pretty shy. But what instantly catch his attention was her eyes. Deep blue, like the depts of ocean, there was something unsettling about those eyes. He didn't paid much attention at that time. Seeing that cute face with those innocent expressions, even if she was to give him a chockroch, he would gladly accept it and even take care of it as a pet. He took the umbrellas and left.
