This story takes place in like early 2023

"Hey, we're here," Yukio said to his younger sister, "go in and uh find your room while I unpack."
His sister nodded and went in from the window to find a room.
Yukio rolled his eyes and opened a box. There isn't really much inside since their parents kicked them out at a young age.
He took out his phone and charger and put it at one place. He was just lucky he saved up enough for a phone and a charger.
The house had a living room, a small kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a garden. Just about enough for him and his sister to live in.
Yukio marked 5 years since his parents abandoned him with only just about enough money. Him and his sister had to spend it wisely.
He went to find his bedroom and organised his stuff somewhere. He took his shoes off because he doesn't want the neighbours to chase him around with a frying pan.
While sitting in the room, he heard a knock on the door. He got up and went to the front door.
He went up to the door and opened it. It was a boy with beige skin colour, dark brown coloured hair and glimmering hazel eyes.
"Hey, did you just move in?" The brunette bitch(jk) asked.
"Uhh yeah," Yukio responded while slightly looking up.
"Can I come in? I want to get to know you," the boy asked because he's a fucking interviewer- I mean curious on getting to know him.
"Sure!" Yukio said, letting him in.
They both went to Yukio's bedroom and sat on the floor to have a conversation.
"So umm, I'm Yukio and I'm 16 years old," he said to start the conversation.
"I'm Leif and the same age as you. Nice to meet you Yukio," Leif said without smiling. "Do you have any siblings?"
"Yep! I have a younger sister," Yukio responded. "She's ten years old."
"Well what is she doing right now? Watching cocomelon?"
"What?" Yukio asked.
"Well she's born in 2013 and is Gen Alpha."
"Ohh. No she grew up with the same childhood as mine. Plus she despises cocomelon and she was born in 2012," Yukio said.
"Oh. Well what does she like then?"
"She listens to Melanie Martinez and even told me that she relates to her some of her songs, like strawberry shortcake. I also relate to it!"
Leif knew the meaning of strawberry shortcake and felt guilt for Yukio and his sister. (Well that escalated quickly -Rowan)
He(Leif) doesn't want to tell him that he listens to Mitski, babymetal, Palaye Royale and my chemical romance because he feels embarrassed about it.
"Who do you listen to?" Leif asked Yukio.
"Hmm I'd say Laufey, kind of Stray kids, Radiohead and Ado. I've also listened to a few of Mitski's songs..." Yukio kept on talking as Leif listened. Yukio suddenly stopped talking.
"Something wrong?" Leif asked him.
"No, I just talk too much," Yukio responded. Leif liked listening to Yukio speak.
"What about yours?" Yukio asked him.
"Mitski, My chemical romance, Palaye Royale and Babymetal," Leif muttered. Unfortunately for him, Yukio heard what he said.
