Okay today is the day I tell him about the pneumonia. Well half of it because I don't want to tell him that it's terminal. I don't like seeing people upset.

But I called him over anyway so he should be coming soon! I hope he doesn't get upset about it.

There was a knock on the door. It must be him! I get up to let him in.

Why is the door already open? Oh yeah I forgot I have a sister. She's so quiet compared to some kids her age. I sat back down and waited for him.

"Yukio! Your boyfriend's here!"

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"Sureee as if I didn't see you one night sleeping closely together!"

"Platonically!"

Leif makes it to the living room and sat next to me while my sister walks silently to her room.

"So what did you want to tell me?" He asks me. I take a deep breath before telling him but I can't. Why can't I tell him?

"It's okay. Take as long as you need. You don't have to tell me straight away."

I take another deep breath before opening my mouth to tell him the truth about what's going on.

"I... have pneumonia..."

He looks at me with his eyes widened, "please tell me you're joking." He sounds so worried I wish this didn't happen.

"I really wish I was Leif. I've had it for a while but I didn't want to worry you so I decided not to tell you."

He understood and takes a deep breath before speaking again, "is it terminal or anything?" I really wish I had the courage to tell him.

"I don't know the doctors didn't tell me." I lied. I can see my sister from the corner of my eye. She's a bit shocked but decides not to say anything.

He got up and took out his hand to help me up, "I wanna show you a place you might like."

I smiled and grabbed his hand to stand up. I didn't really need it but I didn't wanna leave him hanging.

"Can I come too?" I heard my sister say. Leif nods and she follows the both of us. Wonder where he's taking us!

As we're walking I can already see my sister getting tired. I offered to carry her on my back but she declined as she knew that the pneumonia is terminal. Also I had my eyes closed because Leif said it was a surprise.

So that's how she is currently arguing with Leif as she is riding on his back. Hope they don't mean the insults they say to each other!

He decided to hold my hand because my sister told him that I'm starting to lose balance as the days go by. At least he doesn't know that it's terminal!

"We're here." Leif says as he crouches down to let my sister off of his back, "you can open your eyes now."

I open my eyes to see the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. It was a meadow with beautiful white lilies and some hills in the background!

"Do you like it? I wanted to show it to you on your birthday but I couldn't wait any longer."

(He probably wouldn't even live to celebrate his birthday anyway -Sage)
