Ann's Pov.
After 3 months, I had forgotten about Bae. Well not completely forgotten, I mean, how could you forget your own brother? But he was like a dead weight to me now. He left, and though that was probably best, he could have stayed. He could have stayed for me.
Now it was Peter who had helped me get over the fact that Bae was not my only family. Peter had helped me back to his tree house. He comforted me and soon Peter became my family. Neverland was now my home. But things werent as good as they seemed. Peter had been stressed, I tried to comfort him and he pushed me away. Every day he goes into the jungle and doesnt come back until dark.
Of course I worry for him, as I had started to when he had not noticed that the burn marks were not going away. There were not any new ones, just the burns always staying fresh. Maybe it was the islands magic, but Peter had never noticed.

One day I snuck out of camp and followed Peter. The lost boys caught up in their chores, as I had assigned them each a couple. As he started to travel into the jungle, a hand pulled me back into a bush. The bush had scraped me and I felt something running down the back of my left leg. Assuming it was blood, I shrugged it off.
Then I would see that it was Felix, his blond tangly hair in his face. The scar on his face was getting no better, and he had a hard look on his face. A look I would never forget. He smiled with an intent of what looked like evil, one I have only seen from two people. He spoke swiftly and in a harsh tone. "Do not follow him, what good would it do you?" He let go of my arm and I walked back to camp, angry and yet curious about what Peter was doing in the jungle. But, soon I would find out.
I headed back to camp, thinking about what Felix had said. Why would he now show an interest in what I was doing?
