Pan's Lost Girl

Chapter 21

Ann's Pov.

The shadow crash landed me on a road next to a large sign, that said "Welcome To Storybrooke". "Storybrooke, huh? Well, Storybrooke watch out, there's a new resident in town." I said and started to walk toward town. As the sky began to lighten, I came upon a town, buzzing with talk, lights, people, and great smelling food, much better than the food in Neverland. I go into this shop full of great smelling food. I sit down and a girl with black hair with a red streak in it, comes to the table. She is wearing a short button up shirt and short red shorts, showing her stomach. "Hi, I'm Ruby. You look new and number one you are a child, so do you have any parents, or more importantly, since this is a diner, do you have any money?" She said seriously. "Ummmm, no I don't have either of those things, please, I need a place to stay. I'm pretty strong, and I have always been on my own. Is there anyway to make money? Maybe a job?" I ask. "Great idea! Your hired, and you can use one of the bedrooms at the bed and breakfast. Plus, we provide food. So order any dinner off the menu. I will tell Granny!" Ruby said with a smile. "Hey, I never got your name." She called. "It's Ann. Just Ann." I said. "Okay, just Ann." She said running to go tell Granny.

I slept in room 4 and came down to the diner and Granny was waiting there with a stack of clothes for me. "Here Ruby wanted me to give these to you. She feels bad for, you, all alone." Granny says. "Thanks, I am going to go explore town. I will be back at 12:45 for my shift. Okay?" I ask. "Very well, just be careful." She said sternly, I don't think she likes me. I headed back upstairs and put on a pair of black shorts and a green shirt with sequins on the front forming a heart, where my heart should be. But, it wasn't there. I felt like I left it in Neverland. But, that was in the past.

I started off by walking to the clock tower and going down the side walk from that. I came upon a shop called "Mr. Gold's, Pawnbroker" I went inside thinking maybe, I could get a map inside. I go inside and a man with a Scottish accent turns around and says, " sorry, dearie. I don't give jobs. Go find your parents, will you?" I stutter, because I must have been in Neverland, for a longer time than I thought, because standing right in front of me was Rumplestilitskin. (flood of horrible memories come poring back) I turned back and ran out he door, thinking about Peter and his story. I ran into the woods, and hid. Missing my shift, and missing my Peter.

Pan's Pov.

I had every lost boy searching for her, but still no luck. She called me a bastard and I don't understand why, I had never told anyone about his and if I was to tell Ann, she would surely understand. I had thought about her so much, maybe she committed suicide, or maybe she is hiding, I should check our spot. So I was off to find my Ann.
