Unfolding Feelings

Kamlai entered school in Thyme's sister's car. Everyone stared at her as she exited the car. Hana and Gorya walk towards her, though Hana wasn't very happy, and Gorya had a teasing smile on her face. "Kamlai, who was that?" Gorya asked. "P'Tia, Thyme's older sister," she told them plainly. Hana looked i a pang of jealousy formed her gut. "That tia...how nice." Hana said, hiding her jealousy. "No, it's not nice. All because of Thyme." She replied, annoyed. Kamlai looked around,0 noticing that she was the centre of attention.

"Let's go. Everyone's looking at us." Kamlai pointed out, and the three girls began walking away. After school, Ren took Kamlai to Mira's House, who was leaving to go to France, forever. "P'Mira, please don't go." "Kamlai, why are you stopping me?" "Because I really don't want you to go. None of us want you to go, especially Ren." She said, tears forming in her eyes. "I know that you have a dream. But being here doesn't limit you from reaching that dream." Mira looked at her with sadness In her eyes. "I'm sorry, but I've made my mind. I cannot stay here any longer." But deep down, you don't want to leave Ren, do you?" She cried.

"You know, since the first day I met Ren, he'd been waiting for you to come back. And when I see these pictures, I've never seen him smile more than he does when he's with you. The smile is yours. If you're gone, what would he do?" Kamlai said, tears in her eyes. She bent down on the floor. "Please, I'm begging you, please don't go. I know it's to much to ask and so selfish, but I don't want Ren's smile to disappear. Mira stayed silent for a few moments, before she knelt down infront of Kamlai. "Kamlai, you know what?" She said, taking her hand in hers.

"I love that smile on Ren's face too. But what I'm about to do, will make a lot of people smile. I know my decision will hurt people, including Ren and the F4. But I believe in all of them, and I believe that they are strong. The important thing is, a lot of people are waiting for me to make them smile. You understand me, don't you? I'msorry, and I thank you." Mira said, a warm smile on her face. Kamlai left, and went outside to see Ren looking at her I an angry manner. He walked up towards her.

"Did I ask you to kneel infront of Mira and beg? Did you think about how'd she feel about that?!" He asked, his voice raising. "Do you want her to think I forced you to talk to her and keep her here? Did you want her to think that?" He said, and pushed her. You know, what you're doing is putting your nose where it doesn't belong. Think about others' feelings for a change. Don't just think about yours."

He pushed her again, and she pushed him back, causing him to stumble. "What about you? How about your own feelings?!" "What are you saying?" Tears escaped her eyes. "I know it's not my business, and I only care for my feelings. But you? Have you asked yourself what you want to do? Instead of telling yourself there's nothing you can do?" Ren looked at her confused. "What can I do?" "You can't, or are you just avoiding a problem?!" Kamlai stared at him as he stayed silent.

"P'Mira, she's awesome. For what she believes in, she fights with all her might. But look at you! You keep saying that's how the world works! You tell yourself to get over it, but you haven't done anything to fight for it!" She yelled. "Because I know there's nothing I can do! You haven't been able to change a thing!" He yelled back, forcing more tears to escape her eyes as she yelled back. Although I've fought, but cannot make a change, I'm relieved that I've at least done something. Because it matters to me, Ren! If you really like her, deal with it! At least you'll know that you tried, not just saying you can't fix it, when you haven't done anything at all."

She looked at him in a disgusted manner, and walked off. The next day, it was Miras flight, and Kamlai and Gorya also went along with the F4. "Good luck. I'll see you later." Kavin said, as he hugged Mira. "Thank you for coming to see me off. You had to wake up early." She said, smiling at Thyme, Kavin and MJ. "No problem, Mira. It's good we came here. This place is full of beautiful ladies." Kavin laughed. "Better view than sunrise..." MJ retorted, and gave him a fist bump.
