About two weeks ago i started going out with the new boy at my school, Billy Hargrove. Everyone says he was bad news but did i listen no.... No i did not.
I was walking to my lessons as i was 20 minutes late and i heard billy around the corner talking to someone. Just as i was about to walk around the corner, i see Billy getting handed some money by Tommy, billys friend.
I wait around the corner listening to what they are saying when i hear Tommy's voice.
"Well done Billy, you actually did it 3 months to get her to be obsessed with you". I hear Tommy say with a laugh.
I work out how long me and Billy have been together.....
3 months. Was it a bet? No it couldnt be i love him and... And he loves me. Right?
Then i hear Billy talk.
"Yeah i know she was so easy. God i cant belive she actually thinks i love her. So stupid". He laughs along side Tommy.
I hear footsteps coming towards me but i blank them out completely, tears streaming out my eyes.
"wait no shit y/n". I feel hands touching my shoulders but i have no reaction.
"a bet, a-all i was, was a bet. How much Billy?". I say looking at the floor.
He hesitates before speaking "90 dollars". He says with a break in his voice.
I scoff "this is done Billy". I turn around and walk away listening to his pleas behind me.
After all the love i gave him i was just a bet to him...
