Usually, Güven was home before Neslihan so every day he was waiting for her in the living room with a simple dinner and some cheap wine.
This day was different-no sign of Güven, no welcoming presence in the dimly lit living room. Concerned, she called out, receiving only silence. She decided that she would change her clothes first and then call him, she was hoping nothing bad happened to him, he had a habit of getting into trouble. She went to their bedroom and saw Güven sitting on their bed with wounds all over him.
N:Güven!
G:Love.
N:What happened to you?
G:Just a small fight.
N:Small?!
G:Don't worry.
N:I swear someday you'll give me a heart attack.
Güven held her hand and kissed it.
G:At least I know how to save you when you have one.
Neslihan slapped his hand lightly. Güven laughed out loud.
N:Don't laugh! That's serious! You could have been seriously injured.
Güven took her hands in his and looked at her.
G:Neslihan look at me, I'm fine. Nothing happened.
Neslihan tried to go get the medical tools so she could clean him up, but Güven didn't let her go, he sat her on his lap.
N:Now let me take the medical tools so I can clean you up.
G:I'll be fine.
N:But-
G:Neslihan, please. I'll take a shower and I'll be just fine.
N:Okay then I'll prepare dinner.
Neslihan didn't say anything else just looked at him, smiled a little and went downstairs.
While she was cooking, she couldn't help but think about what happened to Güven.
She was so deep into her thoughts, that she didn't hear Güven calling her from upstairs.
G:Neslihan!
She jumped in fear:You scared me!
G:I was calling for you. I'm sorry. What were you thinking about?
N:Nothing. Why did you need me?
G:I think some of the wounds on my back need stitches
Neslihan smiled and turned the oven off.
N:Güven bey, will you ever learn to listen to me?
Güven laughed out loud:Never,Neslihan hanım.
She got the medical tools while he was waiting on the couch shirtless.
N:Only one needs stitches.
G:Okay then go on.
Neslihan stitched up the wound and put on a bandage.
N:You're good to go.
G:Thank you, my love.
Neslihan smiled at him:Now let's eat dinner.
They were both sitting at the table eating dinner in complete silence.
G:So will you tell me what's going on or...?
N:Nothing, I'm just tired
Guven held her hand, he loved how small her hand was compared to his.
G:Neslihan look at me.
She looked at him
G:Please don't worry
N:Güven-
G:Look I'm fine, nothing happened.
N:Sevgilim I'm not telling you to stop going there or stop doing what you're doing,do whateveryou want to do, but please be more careful.
Güven smiled at her and said:Thank you
N:Now if you're ready I'll wash the dishes and we could watch something.
G:I'll help you.
N:If you're tired we can go to sleep.
G:I'm good
N:Okay then
They snuggled up on the sofa and put on a movie.
Güven was caressing Heslihan's hair when he felt that she had fallen asleep.He took her in his arms and went upstairs to their room.He laid down next to her,she hugged him in her sleep and he smiled while kissing her hair
G:Good night,my love.
