Gally barley slept that morning and when he got up.  The doors hadn't opened yet. Gally looked around, seeing the fellow gladers sleeping and he made his decision. Gally, got out of his hammock and put his shoes on, making his way to the doors.

Once he was there he was pacing back and forth in front of them. Waiting.

She had to be alive. She was a fighter. Gally was trying to convince himself. He had to go in there and get her back.

A grumbling sounded and Gally stopped, watching as the doors soon started to open.

"Gally?"  He heard in the distance and turned, seeing Minho and Nick making their way over. They were still pretty far away.

"What are you doing?" Minho asked.

But Nick knew. "Gally, don't!" He started to pick up his speed along with Minho.

Gally didn't say anything and was quick to run into the maze.  Gally looked all around the walls as he ran through the maze.  He was feeling adrenaline kick in.  His heart beating fast.

He couldn't believe this is what it looked like.  Vines everywhere and when he thought there would be an exit it was just a dead end or more walls and it just felt cold.

"Clara!"  Gally shouted as he took another turn.

Soon, Gally could hear Minho and Nick somewhere, telling him to stay where he was at.  But he didn't care.  He didn't listen.  He just kept running.

Meanwhile, Minho and Nick came to a halt, trying to look for Gally.

"Gally!  You shank, stay put!"  Minho shouted, his voice slightly bouncing off the walls.  Minho then started to walk.  "Shucking slint-head".

Nick stayed where he was and scoffed.

"What?"  Minho turned to face him.  Nick looking at him with hatred.

"What do you mean, what?  You know"

Minho took in a deep breath.  "We don't have time for this Nick.  Gally shouldn't be in here and he doesn't know anything about the maze".  Minho didn't want to talk about it.

Nick started to walk towards him but once he got close enough, his face were barley inches from his.  "Gally wouldn't be in here if you and the others voted 'no".  Nick then walked past him, turning the left corner.

Minho watched him leave and let out a sigh, looking at the ground.  Minho was only like that for a moment before turning the left corner as well but stopped soon after, almost running into Nick.

"Why did you stop-". Minho cut himself off, answering his own question when he noticed the blood on the ground.

A lot of blood.

"There's so much blood."  Nick said, his eyes not leaving it.

"Is that-"

"Yes".  Nick was quick to answer Minho's question.

"How do you know?"  Minho asked in a low voice.

"Who else's could it be?  We would've heard if Gally got it by a griever".  Nick held his angry tone back and he felt tears in his eyes once more.  "Where-where is her body?  What happened to it?"  Nick was now the one asking questions.

Minho looked away from the blood and to the side of Nicks head, seeing how the boy started to become distressed.  "I don't know".  He whispered.

"Did the griever take her somewhere?  Did it eat her?  Are there bones left or is this all that's left of her?  What if her body is just rotting away somewhere inside this maze?  She doesn't deserve that".  Nick started to panic of all of the possibilities of his poor friend.
