°Sophie's P.O.V.°

Casey finally spilled everything that happened. Here's what happened;

I went to the freezer, to search for some ice cream. But the chocolate chip cookie dough was missing. I run up the stairs to the guest room, the door is slightly open so I shove through. Casey is sitting on the bed, shades closed, lights out, surrounded by tissues, and scooping the ice cream straight out of the tub. A crappy daytime soap opera is on t.v. Casey's face is red and tear stained. I march over to the bed and snatch the remote away from her. She lunges for it but I shut the television off.

"Casey, what is going on? You have to tell me!" I yell. Casey's eyes fill with fresh tears and they spill over.

"I'm sorry Sophie!" She cries and flings herself into my arms. She proceeds to tell me everything, pausing only to dab at her eyes with a tissue, or sob. I understand why she did what she did.Sort of. But Louis made her so happy. I don't know why she couldn't just enjoy it, and then try to make it work. She's adamant that it wouldn't work. Me and Niall have become closer over the past few weeks, meeting for lunch, or an afternoon coffee. He tells me that Louis is devastated. He hasn't talks to anyone since Casey broke up with him. He doesn't record, or go anywhere. He just lays on the couch all day, like a vegetable. He sounds a lot like Casey. All she does is eat ice cream, and flip through the channels to find a soap opera about falling in love, then she flings cookie dough at the t.v. and yells;

"Liar!" When they say love is grand. I'm getting ready to go to the beach with Niall. I was cautious about telling Casey, but she just grunted and puts pillow over her head. The door bell rings, and take another quick look in the mirror before heading to the living room. room When get there, I here Niall's voice. Casey must've gotten the door. Surprise. I hear another voice, male. I recognize it. I tear through the house and to the door. Niall stands beside Louis. Casey has one hand on the door, she's leaning on it for support. As if it is the only thing keeping her off the floor. I shoot Niall daggers with my eyes. He shrinks. Casey's hair is thrown into a messy bun on top of her head, shes in 'I heart java' sweats and an old Gray tank top that is stained with who knows what.

"What are You doing here?" She asks Louis. Her voice icily calm.

"Niall asked me to come." Louis replies, in the same tone. He look just as awful as Casey. Hair ruffled and unwashed, dirty white t-shirt with gray sweats. His bare feet are a contrast to the pink bunny slippers Casey wears. Casey and Louis stare into each others eyes. Casey is crumbling, I can tell. Before she begins to cry, she turns and walks away. A door slams upstairs. Louis's straight shoulders slump when she leaves. A tear falls down his cheek. He doesn't bother to wipe it away as he walks down the stairs and gets into the car.

"What the hell Niall! That's the first time Casey has gotten off of the couch since the breakup, an You bring Louis here?! What the hell kind of logic is that?!" Niall flinches. God, we aren't even dating yet, actually I don't know what we are. We haven't 'classified our relationship' yet. I haven even kissed him and he's already scared of me. Great. He stares at his feet, waiting my next screaming spout. I ruffle his hair instead.

"Look Ni.... I know you were just trying to help... I just... I've never seen Casey like this before.. I hate it. I know you are probably just as concerned about Louis. I think the best thing for both of them is some time apart. Casey feels as if she made the right decision. Even though she is completely heart broken." I sigh.

"I think we should reschedule our beach date. Louis is probably bawling in the car, and I need to get him home." Niall leans forward and kisses me quickly on the cheek. He blushes in spite of himself. I smile softly.

"How about Wednesday?" I suggest, Niall sucks in air,

"I don't know if I can wait two whole days to see you again." He jokes. I hit him on the shoulder, and he nods reluctantly.
