Nero stays one place and barely moves a muscle.
Sid: Nero, let's go!
Nero: ...
Nero heads off the opposite direction. Towards the oncoming threat of Infectids.
Abigail: where is he going?
Sid: Nero!
Sid goes after him.
Sid: where are you going?
Nero: I'm going to go and see this horde that everyone’s so afraid of
Sid: uhh Nero, I know you've been locked up for all this time but you gotta know man, the Infectids aren't those simple things you used to face before
Nero: what do you mean?
Sid: I mean, they've upgraded and mutated into much more blood crazed vicious things
Nero: it doesn't matter
Sid: yes it does, they're stronger now Nero, it ain’t the same as it was, it’s too dangerous
Nero: I've got my abilities, Sid. I can handle myself, now move
Sid: but are you even sure you can still use them, I mean back at the shipping yard you could barely use them. You only did it once and they… were different somehow
Nero shoves Sid aside and walks on ahead.
Sid: your abilities haven't fully returned yet!
Nero: and how would you know?
Sid: I can still see your bruises, your body hasn't fully recovered yet. If your abilities were at their fullest you'd be completely healed by now
Nero: ...
Nero continues walking ahead.
Sid: (what happened to you? It’s like you're a completely different person from before. What did they do to you?)
Sid watches the view of Nero's back as he continues onwards to face the Infectid horde alone.
Sid: (was it the torture that Enzo dealt to you that changed you or...was it the torture of losing Leo? Either way...I won't let you walk this path alone. I'll be by your side every step of the way, even if I die in the end)
Sid rushes to Nero's side and walks with him to face the Infectid horde.
Nero: you better not slow me down
Sid: forgive me if I do
Nero: ...
They reach the towns entrance, Nero turns back and looks behind him, he notices the town empty of people, it almost looks deserted. He turns his attention ahead of him, peering at a distance, he sees no Infectid, let alone a horde approaching. He waits, then...
Sid: look, there it is
Nero: ...
Nero finally sees it, hundreds of Infectids head straight to their position, rushing and knocking each other down in their stampede. Most of the creatures down on all fours, running towards them like animals. Nero decides he's seen enough and charges towards them himself, leaving Sid behind.
Sid: Nero!! Dammit!
Sid draws out his dual pistols and starts shooting, by this time the Infectids are almost thirty meters away from him, Nero fifteen. In a matter of a minute Nero will be fighting within the horde.
