Harvey opened the door to his apartment before it closed and he dropped his briefcase to the floor, undoing his tie and letting out a sigh of exhaustion. "Why did I do that to her?" he questioned in his mind. He decided to get ready for tomorrow as he had another trial to deal with, the man he'd be prosecuting against being Oswald Cobblepot. or as other people who'd heard of Batman's many villains called him: The Penguin. He'd already sent Edward Nigma back to Arkham for a long time after Batman stopped one of his evil schemes. Yet part of his mind desired to be with her now. Seeing his apartment now as being more lonely and empty then homey. Wishing that he had kissed her somewhere other then her forehead and wanting to know what her lips would feel like on his. He finished getting his suit out for the morning. Seeing it as prefect to making sure he had time to make an argument that would without doubt have the trial go in his favour. Yet desires for his personal life still persisted. Harvey taking out his phone and looking at the time seeing it was late. The lawyer debated on if he should call his friend or not yet in the end he decided to give it a shot. Little knowing what Bruce was actually doing as things progressed in Harvey's mind. Him still being oblivious to her having a crush on him as well. "Bruce? it's me. Can we talk?" Harvey asked over the phone, undoing the vest of his suit and sitting down on his bed. "Sorry Harvey, I'm a little busy right now. Is everything okay?" Bruce asked as he tried not to sound like Batman as he was currently patrolling the city in the Batmobile. The lawyer checked his watch and said he wanted to talk about something he felt conflicted over, yet didn't know when he could meet him. "...How about we meet for coffee and have a talk about things then?" Bruce offered, suggesting the time of 8:30am as he had work at Wayne Enterprises not that long after the start of Harvey's trial at 9. Harvey agreed and the two men soon said their goodbyes before the district attorney soon went to sleep.

Morning came and Harvey woke up to the sound of his alarm clock going off. He checked what time he had and he guessed he still had enough to get ready and make sure he had a good argument for the jury after seeing his best friend. Having a shower and a piece of toast for breakfast, Making sure he looked presentable as always as he straightened his tie again. Yet as he looked in the mirror he didn't know if he was more worried about messing up in court because of personal distractions or if it was keeping to the terms of his agreement with the woman he still had a crush on. He let out another sigh before picking up his briefcase and left his apartment to get to the coffee shop Bruce texted him earlier to meet at. Part of the lawyer hoping that one day he could come home to something different that part of him had been longing to have again. He arrived at the coffee shop two minutes early and wondered how Teo's day was going already. He knew a lot about her from things like the game they had played before and other things from both herself and even her brother. Yet he still wanted to know if his life would be better if they were more then just friends. Hoping that they would be. Then right on time his best friend showed up and asked how he was doing. "First coffee Bruce, then we can talk" Harvey said making him chuckle. "I'll give you as much time as I can before we need to go...but if you need help with anything, I'll try my best to help you" Bruce said making Harvey smile. The two having been friends for years and Bruce hadn't let him down before. He took a deep breath and then started to chuckle to himself. Guessing Gotham's most eligible bachelor never had problems in dealing with crushes. Bruce noticing it and slyly asked if his problem was about the brunette.

"I never said this was about her" Harvey said. "I didn't ask Harvey. I haven't been around you two much as of late. But it's just a guess that it's about her or someone else" Bruce replied. Guessing out loud that Harvey had a big crush on Teo and joking that the lawyer was probably his only competition when it would come to woman having crushes on them. Harvey said he had a crush on her first yet didn't know how she felt about him in return. He took a sip of his coffee and then stared at it saying that he thought he'd be unsuccessful in finding love again after things with his high school crush Gilda didn't work out, even though he tried. "I've been dreaming about her a bit Bruce. I dream about kissing her and I want to do it when I tell her...but we agreed that I can't just yet" the lawyer said. Bruce looked at him confused and asked if he signed some sort of contract and the lawyer chuckled saying he hadn't. Saying it was just terms of a bet and Bruce smiled seeing what was going on. "If I were you Harvey, I'd see if she wanted to break that rule. People in business can always change their minds, even me..." Bruce said, before joking that the worst thing she could do was to go out with him instead as punishment. The district attorney taking in the billionaire's words before the two finished their coffees and Bruce wished him good luck for both the trial against Penguin and the brunette he loved. Days went by as the trial progressed. Harvey giving it his everything as people watched what was happening on the news. Teo herself watching things unfold as part of her wondered if her brother was watching the same thing. Yet she guessed things were different in Star City as they had their own criminals to deal with and their own hero family keeping everyone safe.

The day of the verdict came and lots of people were already guessing for how long the villain would be going away for. Some people guessing that the district attorney rarely lost a case if ever and others even saying that the district attorney and the Batman were a crime stopping duo of their own sort. The dark knight putting a stop to his villain's crimes while the district attorney for the city he helped protect were sent away for a long time. Yet for Harvey, part of him wouldn't really be surprised if some in the city thought he himself was the dark knight. Knowing that he hadn't been asked the question yet. But he knew that if he was a hero in a cape and cowl he'd become a villain if he was a hero for long enough in that sense. The jury came in and the judge asked if they had all came to an agreement. Penguin sulked as he sat in a suit wanting to get revenge on Batman for stopping his evil plan. Harvey looking back in his mind and thinking that his closing argument and all the evidence was perfect in proving the man's guilt. Yet a part of him was still worried at to how things would go with Teo. Wanting to know if his feelings would be reciprocated. One of the jurors said that they had and told that they found the defendant guilty of the crimes Batman and the Gotham police had arrested him on. The judge declaring that the trial was over and Penguin was taken away to go back to Arkham. The villain swearing that he would get out and that Batman and the city would suffer for what they had done in standing in his way. "Well done Harv. You still got it" said Commissioner Gordon as he gave him a pat on the shoulder and asked if he was going to the bar to celebrate with them.

Harvey thought about Teo and remembered what Bruce had said earlier before the trial. Guessing that now he would tell her and see where things would go from there. "Sorry Jimbo, I gotta see someone now" Harvey said. Getting his briefcase ready and then leaving the courtroom. Reporters and the press asked him lots of questions all at the same time and Harvey answered a couple before he said that he needed to leave. Teo smiled seeing that her friend had won another trial and soon got a text from her brother betting that she was watching her boyfriend on TV. She texted back saying that he wasn't before the sibling replied to her he bet $20 to Bruce Wayne himself that she had feelings for the district attorney. "I do not have feelings for him. Even though he is tall...and dreamy" Teo thought before she replied to her brother that she guessed the billionaire owed him twenty bucks. The two siblings then continued their back and forth before a knock at the door made the brunette jump before she told her brother to probably get back to work now. Jack just saying a 'goodbye dork' before she went to see who it was. "Harvey? What are you doing here?" Teo asked seeing the slightly wet lawyer standing outside her door. The rain having started not that long ago. He said that he needed to talk to her and she let him in. The brunette feeling something strange yet tried to ignore it. "I had a talk with Bruce and I really want to do something...yet I know we agreed not to yet. I was wondering if you...well..." Harvey asked. Finding it difficult to find the right words. The brunette walking up to him and she said it was okay. Harvey said he still wanted to stick to their agreement yet she sighed hoping that things would go well if she just showed him. She pulled him down by his tie and slowly kissed him leaving him shocked. He wanted to kiss her and yet she was going it first.

The district attorney soon feeling himself wrap his arms around her waist and lift her up slightly making the kiss deeper as she put her arms around his neck and her fingers into his wet hair. Harvey saying that they should stop as they shouldn't be doing it now, yet the brunette said that she didn't want to anymore. Kissing him more and more until Harvey snapped and started to kiss her back. Letting her feel everything he had for her and the brunette said that she loved him. The district attorney stopping himself before cupping her face gently and smiled as he looked into her blue eyes. "I love you too Teo. I'm not like Bruce and I didn't want to ruin things if you didn't feel the same way I did...I know we agreed to a kiss after my third trial. But I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend" Harvey asked. Only looking at her as the TV still played in the background as the rain poured down. Teo said yes and the two kissed again until they both needed to breath again. "Guess I better come up with a punishment for breaking the rules, my district attorney...also I think Bruce Wayne owes my brother money from a bet" Teo said. Making Harvey chuckle as he held her close. Wanting nothing in the city to hurt her. Even though she didn't tell him everything about her past.
