Another day started for the people of Gotham and in a small apartment somewhere in the city was a man lots of people knew as the district attorney, Harvey Dent. He woke up and started his day as usual by having a shave and a shower. Making sure his face had no stubble from a beard growing in or any pimples either. He nearly finished putting on his suit when he got a phone call and saw that it was from the office. Harvey knew it was an important case as it was involving yet another one of the dark knight's roughs gallery, yet as the call was nearly over the power to his apartment suddenly went out. His secretary asked if he was okay and he said he was fine and that he just had a power outage. The call soon ending and he checked the time on his watch to see how long it would be before he was needed in court. "Great. Looks like I'll have breakfast out today" Harvey said in his mind. Looking outside to see that it appeared to also be affecting the street as well. Car horn honking and angry morning commuters in their cars demanding for others to move. Yet all the traffic signals were out. He guessed the trial might not go ahead but he decided to still finish putting on his suit and get something to eat on the way. The small coffee shop he remembered passing when he met the brunette Teo re-entered his brain and he decided to also see if she was okay. Seeing the brunette as nice company yet still for the time being saw her as maybe an acquaintance or a friend. He left his apartment and remembered the way to it as he went there sometime before. Yet he saw that even more of the city had no power which sadly included the coffee shop he wanted to go to before. "Now what?" Harvey thought to himself. His stomach already grumbling to have some food as he guessed the trial might not go well if the district attorney prosecuting against one of Batman's foes ended up being distracted somehow. His mind soon going to his friends like Bruce Wayne before it seemed to stay on the brunette he met around half a week ago.

He tried to look for her and went in the direction of her apartment, yet as he walked he soon remembered that he only knew what building she lived in and not which floor. Harvey stopped someone and asked if they knew where Teo lived in her apartment building, yet the stranger grumbled that they didn't know her and told him to leave them alone. He let out a slightly frustrated sigh as he knew that at this rate he'd be late for court, yet he guessed if the courthouse and the rest of the city had no power the trial might be cancelled altogether. hunger and other thoughts not helping until he finally noticed someone familiar and went to see if it was the brunette. Harvey saw them go into a park that was somewhere else in the city holding something in their hand before they sat down on a bench. The sounds of Gotham being in trouble still there. Yet they weren't as loud where they both were and he wanted to be sure it was the woman he was wondering about. "Stupid lousy power cut...ice cream..." he heard recognising the grumbling voice as Teo's and seeing she wasn't in a very good mood like a lot of people in the city. "Excuse me but is this seat taken?" the lawyer asked, trying to cheer her up. Her instantly recognising his voice and she turned to see it was him. "Oh...Hey Harvey. Long time no see again" Teo said before letting him sit next to her. Harvey jokingly asked if she was having the ice cream in her hands for breakfast and she chuckled saying it was because she lost power and was worried about her work on her laptop. The two continued with small talk until the brunette asked why he wasn't in a courtroom somewhere. Harvey explaining what he thought happened and she said they could share it together.

"Before we continue talking Harvey, can I do one thing first?" Teo asked looking a little unsure with herself and putting the ice cream to one side. He nodded his head in agreement and she asked if he thought the two of them were friends. "Do you want us to be?" Harvey asked back and she nodded her head before asking if she could help fix his suit. He smiled a little at her and allowed it with the brunette getting to work even though the district attorney told her there might not be much point. Teo said that he needed to look presentable before wiping his lips of the chocolate ice cream around it with her top's sleeve. Asking if he thought he could win a trial looking like a mess but Harvey replied that he hadn't tried to before. "I saw there was stuff about you in the news. Your said to be pretty good" Teo said and Harvey thanked her saying he was Gotham's youngest district attorney, adding that he worked hard to get to where he was now. But he still wanted to get further and keep everyone in the city safe including her. Teo smiled and bet that he had a lot of woman drooling over him and he chuckled saying he thought even his secretary would if she wasn't married already for twenty years. They both looked at the ice cream and saw it was melting on the bench and Teo frowned guessing she'd have a lot of food in her kitchen to replace. "If you want to Teo, I can buy you more ice cream for next time" Harvey offered and she chuckled saying they probably had no way to talk to each other before jokingly suggesting smoke signals or the park's local pigeons. Harvey saying that it would be when they meet again and she chuckled saying that she knew.

The two then decided to exchange phone numbers with Harvey giving her his personal number, even though a small part of him wanted to give her his office number too. Yet he just brushed it off as nothing for now. Knowing what had happened to him before as a lot of people would have heard. His best friend included. "It was a pleasure meeting you again, Miss Teo Broere" Harvey said getting up being ready to leave. "Likewise, Mr district attorney" Teo replied before she asked if he was now being a business man with Gotham's power being out. Harvey smiled and said that his friend Bruce was more well known for doing business as he was the owner of a massive company while saying he himself usually did business in a courtroom. The brunette said that he looked good in a suit and he thanked her before saying he probably needed to go now. Both of them thinking the same and left yet the district attorney felt he wouldn't have minded staying with his new friend for just a little bit longer, the trial for today's court case still being a massive what if. He checked to make sure there wasn't any ice cream on his face when he heard his phone ring and went to answer it right away. "Hey it's me..." Harvey said through the phone. "Just testing to see if the right phone number was in Harvey...see you later, Mr district attorney" Teo said on the other end of the phone. Harvey letting out another chuckle before he said goodbye and hung up the phone. Undoing his tie a little as he went back to his apartment. looking forward to the next time he would see her again. Imagining what would happen if he introduced her to his playboy best friend, Bruce Wayne.
