I'm not hungry at all. Pedro's family has been lovely to me, and I feel terrible about myself, I don't deserve this, all while Pedro must be at his house suffering.

That kiss has made me realize many things, too many. I feel like we're wasting our time, or we were. I hope that one day soon he will forgive me, because I want it all, and I want it with him. I couldn't be with anyone else after having met Pedro.

"Ale". Lux interrupts my thoughts. "Stop thinking so much, you are just as my brother in that way, you can't stop thinking about everything".

I move my fork around the plate. "I can't Lux, I will never be able to get rid of the feeling of guilt".

"Look ". She takes the cutlery from me and puts it aside. "I know my brother very well, and he may have told you anything, except what he really wants". She smiles. "He's crazy about you, I can tell you that, but sometimes he's too proud to admit things".

She shrugged at me. "He has his reasons for being like this".

"He will have them, but believe me, he will be okay, just give him a few days to think about everything". She takes my hand. "I'm sure he was on the verge of alcohol when you went to see him".

"Almost...".

"The next thing is to realize everything and calm down a little, he was at the peak then, from there he will relax little by little".

"It could be Lux, but think about it...". I look up above his head.

"Hello family... Sorry I'm late". Pedro apologizes, standing at the door that separates the garden from the house.

His cold gaze meets mine. I'm taking his place and there are no more seats.

"I'll get you another chair, son." His father makes a move to get up but I anticipate his movement.

"It's okay, Jose". I smile at his father. "I was already leaving, I won't bother you anymore, thank you for everything, it was delicious".

"Honey, don't bother, stay there while we get a chair" he insists.

"I would like to sleep a little, I haven't touched a mattress for two days, just took a little nap yesterday, and added the jet lag...". I say goodbye to Lux with a kiss.

With eyes on the ground, I entered the house passing by Pedro.

As the family had instructed me, I go up the stairs to look for the room they have assigned me, the one that was his...

I enter and observe everything carefully. Light gray walls, a large bed, a wardrobe of the same size, a small table. A simple bathroom, with a bathtub and a sink. Finally the terrace. I open the curtains and go out, it is spacious, enough for one person. There is a two-seater sofa, accompanied by a small low table with an extra chair.

Sighing I sit on the couch. I do not feel like doing anything.

My boss wrote to me informing me that Miguel had been fired from work. They received anonymous information about what happened, explaining that he had forced me, and after looking at the building's cameras and verifying that the information was correct, they had fired him.

Obviously I know who sent that information, but I'm not going to tell them anything. I appreciate it, I didn't feel like facing that right now.

That being said, he has given me a week to calm down and get back on track.

I look at the sky taking advantage of the darkness at this time, appreciating all the stars and the huge moon.

I hear footsteps enter the room, but I can't see from my position. The shadow of a figure tells me that it is approaching where I am. Pedro appears under the doorway looking at me silently.

Without saying a word, he takes a few more steps, sits down on the couch and lays his head on my chest. I carefully hold it and stroke his hair with my hands. I see how he closes his eyes because of my caresses, it looks that he is relaxing when he notices my touch.

I place a kiss on his hair and close my eyes, leaning on the sofa, slowly falling asleep.

I guess we don't need to talk to apologize.
