The life before p.2- chapter 2

 Time skip......Later that night.......

      Mother looked out the window to see the sun almost about to set, and she saw how the path long path that lead to their house in the woods was losing sunlight by the second. She knew that  father would be back soon.

"children, go wait outside for your father, he should be arriving shortly" Mother said in a calm voice as she was still preparing dinner for everyone. Y/n, Mai, and Koi had been playing in the woods all day and got back inside about an hour ago. Now they were playing in the other room (bedroom), probably making another hut with the futons or something. The house they lived in was small enough so you could hear anyone yell without a problem. 

"we're coming!" Koi yelled back from the other room telling the others to go out to the front yard to wait and greet their father when he arrived. 

The 3 of them came running out from the bedroom and into the kitchen, walking towards their mother. Y/n was standing in front.

"what are you making, mother?" y/n said as she watched her prepare some sort of fish

"i'm making some salmon daikon, isn't that your favorite?" mother said looking to y/n, who was watching her make it

"yes!" y/n smiled as she started to walk outside to wait for her father with the rest of her siblings

Koi, Y/n, and Mai went outside into the front yard to wait for their father. He would normally arrive at the same time everyday so it shouldn't be that long of a wait. Y/n walks over to the flowers in the front of the house and looks at how beautiful they looked while they were bathed in the sunlight. She sits in peace looking at the flowers as she waits. Suddenly, Mai yells "father!"  as she started to run over to him. Y/n turned around to see her father a good distance away from their house. You could see his walking figure as the sun set behind him. She got up and started to walk over to him along with Koi. Mai ran towards father as he was walking and hugged him as he hugged her back. 

"hi father, welcome home"  Koi said in a happy voice as he hugged him as well

"hello father, welcome home" y/n said as she hugged him and smiled a bit

Their father hugged them back as he said this "hello, kids"he smiled

They all started to walk back towards the house

"did you kids have a good day today?" their father asked while smiling a bit

"yes! yes! we saw the hut! it was still up! we played in the woods and mother made us american breakfast!" Mai responded quickly as she sounded excited about it

"really? that sounded like you had quite a day" father smiled at Mai as they arrived at there house. They opened the brown sliding door to reveal mother cooking in their house. They slipped their shoes off and set them neatly by the door

"hello dear, welcome home" mother said as she turned to father and gave him a warm smile

"thank you" he smiled back at her

"it's time to eat so everyone wash up and sit down at the table" mother said in a calm voice as she started to prepare the food

"ok!" Koi and y/n said in sync as everyone headed to the bathroom to wash their hands. They stood in a line as they patiently waited for their turn. Just at that second, y/n felt a sharp pain in the back of her head, and suddenly everything around her went black. As she turned around she saw a girl, tied up on a chair screaming as it looked like a bunch of dead people on the floor.....some figure was holding a young girl by the neck as she looked limp. It was at that moment she noticed the horrible scene. Bright red blood was spread across the floor as there were body parts everywhere. Hands, legs, arms, you name it, it was there. The girl kept screaming louder and louder until all y/n could hear was her screaming. Y/n stepped back in complete shock ad she witnessed the gruesome scene in front of her. She felt that same sharp pain in the back of her head and just like that she was back. All of a sudden, she opened her eyes. She was standing in the line as she was about to wash her hands.....

"y/n, are you okay, you look a little pale" koi said in a concerned voice as he asked her. Koi was in waiting behind her in the line formation they had. Mai just finished washing her hands as she skipped happily over to the dinner table, and there father had already gone and was sitting down

Y/n shook her head and tried to forget the traumatic scene she witnessed. "yes, i'm okay"

she stepped up to the sink as her hands were shaking a bit. She started to wash her hands slowly as she replayed what she just saw in her head over and over again. She started to sweat even more. They screaming from that girl kept ringing in her head louder and louder and louder....she stopped washing her hands for a second. Then all of a sudden, the screaming stopped, and it was like it was never there. The continued washing her hands as she now dried her hands on the towel. She walked over to th table and shook her head again. She completely got rid of any thoughts about the previous incident. She decided to ignore it....hoping it would go away....not knowing what was yet to come.....

As they ate their food that night, they had a great time with each other, laughing and talking, enjoying themselves as they ate dinner. They talked about various topics involving their day, what they did, what they wanted to do, and a lot more. They night seemed so perfect...to perfect to be true.....

Later that night, when everyone was a sleep, the moon shined brightly in the sky as the stars twinkled alongside it. The night was lovely and everyone was peacefully sleeping in their futons. Happy dreams filled their heads as they got a good nights rest. The owls were talking away with the other creatures of the night. Y/n had woken up. She needs to use the bathroom. She got up out her futon and made her way out the bedroom. She carefully opened the sliding door, looking back to make sure she didn't wake her family up. They crept down the small hall and into the bathroom. She turned on the light, as she did that, she squinted her eyes from the brightness. She closed the door, giving one last glance at the dark empty hallway. 

She started to hear the faint sound of footsteps creeping through the hall, but she figured it was just one of her family members getting a drink of water. She at that moment heard a loud bang followed by a scream. The screaming continued and it sounded like.....her mother. They screaming stopped all of a sudden. She rushed out the bathroom to find where the screaming was coming from. She stopped in her tracks. She was so horrified by the scene she just witnessed that she started to shake. It was her mother....but she was  dead. It was a bloody mess, her mother's head was...on the floor...as her body was limp on the floor as blood endlessly spilled out of it. The blood started to make a puddle on the floor as it drained out of her body. There was a moment of silence while everyone in the room starred in complete horror. Mai let out a loud scream as she stared. Koi ran over to mother and started to yell her name as he  started to shake. Father stood in place in so much shock he couldn't move. His face was covered in horror as he laid eyes on the now body of mother. Then they heard a laugh. 'Who the hell was laughing' y/n thought to herself.  

A scary figure emerged from the shadows as it laughed even more. It was a demon....
