"demon slayer headquarters?" y/n asked him puzzled to where or what that was.
"yup! it's where all the demon slayer get treated and even some of the hashiras live here" he told her with enthusiasm
"hashira? what's a hashira?" she asked a bit confused. She slowly started to remember everything that happened to her the night before. She refused to acknowledge it
he looked utterly flabbergasted by your question
"you don't know what a hashira is??"
"no" she responded plainly. She was still slightly confused on why he looked so concerned while more and more memories flood into her head like an angry wave
"a hashira is the highest ranking demon slayer in the whole corps! They are the most powerful slayers ever! Plus they are super scary" Kenta said as she looked back at Kochos work room with a slightly disturbed expression
"really? thats cool" Y/n wasnt really interested in what he had to say at this point. Her mind was full of grief and sadness, all she could think about was how her whole family was dead. She fought back the temptation to cry the best she could, as it wasnt appropriate for the moment
He gave her a look of concern once he realized that she looked sad. "She was probably sad because of her family being killed, the house was a bloody mess when I got there. I wonder what happened to her" he thought to himself while still staring and giving a caring look "hey if you want to talk about it, I'm here" Kenta was concerned for her and came a little closer to her, carrying a worried aura
She looked up at him as her eyes were obviously bringing a sad expression to her face.
"Im fine"
She started to walk off into the halls of the butterfly mansion aimlessly. Y/n didn't want to admit that she didn't know where she was going and honestly didn't care. The grief was slowly becoming more heavy as she placed one foot in front of another. She didn't look back at Kenta, not even once. As the seconds went by and he watched her keep walking, he fought the temptation to go after her and comfort her, but he thought it was best to leave her alone for now. He was right, her family was murdered in front of her just yesterday night, she needed some time alone and that was a fact. As soon as she cut the corner, tears rolled down her face while she remembered what she had lost. She made her way back into the room she came from and laid on the bed and hid her face under her covers. She continued to cry silently but to others, she was asleep still.
Y/n:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next thing i knew, i was saved by a demon slayer. I still remember his name, kenta. He took me somewhere. I didn't know where I was, and I didn't care, not even one bit. All I knew and cared about at the time was that everyone and everything I ever knew and loved was gone. Everything was gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. I went into a heavy depression that completely submerged my mind in soul in an endless sea of grief that i couldn't escape. It pulled me down to the very bottom of the it, deeper than the deepest place there ever was, so deep to where there was no light at all. Darkness. Thats all I felt for a very long time. I was miserable and filled to the rim with sadness and darkness. "why am I even still here?" and "what the point of life anymore..." were thoughts that sometimes ran through my mind. But to be honest with you, back then, I was completely right. Until Muichiro came into my life, I had nothing to live for. At all. At least that's what i used to think. It was a depressing time for me, and I stayed like that even after I met Muichiro.
