The hours pass as if it's doomsday. With nothing to look forward to each Saturday, Jisung's week has been flat. 3Racha had a concert on the 2nd day of Minho's departure which was unfortunate. Not the concert, it went great, but Minho wasn't there to see it.

Jisung had planned to ask Minho to be there as his special guest during the tutoring session the week before. But when they cuddled on the couch at the cat cafe, Jisung felt gut wrenched once he found out that Minho wasn't going to be in Seoul. There would be no point in telling Minho about the concert and make him feel guilty when he should be enjoying his vacation in Gimpo.

He's had his first few exams already; English literature and Artificial Intelligence. They went well, he's quite sure he's aced them.

Currently, he's sitting on a blind date with someone called Lee Chaeryeong. It wasn't his choice, it was a forced blind date schemed by their parents. She's honestly very pretty, gorgeous, even. Definitely his type. But Jisung doesn't really want to date anyone other than the one he has in mind. He's only got one goal. And that's where he'll score after the midterms, acing his mathematics exam.

Right at the start of their date, they both made a mutual agreement that they don't want to proceed with anything. They both have 'partners' (or that's what Jisung called Lee Minho and she called Choi Jisu, Lia) of their own already.

It's Saturday, 12 pm. It's a cute lunch date, which would've been endearing if Jisung would've had it with his so-called 'partner'. But Chaeryeong is sweet. Funny, too. Definitely Jisung's type, again.

Minho got back from Gimpo just a few days ago, but the only contact the two have had are through cat memes. Jisung might as well call Minho, just to make sure the tutoring session is still in motion, of course.

And maybe reduce his yearning to hear Minho's pliant hums and fuzzy chimes.
But that's besides the point.

"I'll see you around?" Jisung inquires as a farewell. They're standing outside the cafe they'd just shared a lunch at, bidding their goodbyes.

Chaeryeong ponders for a moment. "I'm moving to Jeju, so if you're there on a vacation with your boyfriend, let's go on a double date." She smiles.

"Bet," Jisung agrees with his gummy grin. "Don't steal him from me, though."

She laughs. "Cya, Han Jisung," Chaeryeong says and turns on her heel, walking off into the other direction, disappearing behind a clouded mass.

He sighs with a content leer and walks over to the parking lot. Changbin lost another bet against Jisung and was forced to give up his car for another week, so Jisung has leisurely taken his time with the mighty vehicle: Using it to get wherever he needs to, only in a matter of minutes.

With a huff, he slumps down into the driverseat of the black Audi, picking up his phone to call Minho. His longing for his tutor heightened after going on a date with Chaeryeong. All he could think about was how it would be with Minho there alongside him.

More than he'd care to admit, Jisung misses having Minho around. Given how pitiful it would make him feel, he most likely won't ever acknowledge it. He's on his knees for his tutor even though he's just been gone for a week? Humiliating.

A swift motion leads him to pressing his phone against his ear as it dials. The beat goes on thrice, but eventually he hears the craved, soft voice on the other end.

"Hello?" Minho inquires as Jisung discerns the subtle background commotion. He wonders if Minho is at work right now, picking up the call despite their 'no mobiles during work' policy. The thought makes something in his chest gambol.
