Chapter 2: Skepticism

We were now in the cafeteria, it was large to say the least.

However, despite it being large, the atmosphere itself was much larger and heavier that even a butter knife isn't enough to cut it.

Some of us are still a bit shaken from what AM showed us and talked about.

Echidna, Higashihama, Yokoya and I were still silent like everyone else because we don't know where to start.

It was until one boy who had brown hair and green eye's started to clear his throat and got up.

"W-well despite was we heard and saw earlier....let's try to ease this tense atmosphere by introducing ourselves right?" The boy proposed.

I can see everyone taking glances at eachother and turned there looks back to the boy and nodded.

"Alright then! I'll go first since I proposed the idea. I'm Yagami Takuya! And I hope to get to know you all better." Yagami said with enthusiasm.

I must admit, his social skills and his will to take the initiative first is much better than mines.

"Now then who wants to go next?" Yagami asked.

Then the blonde boy with red eye's raised his hand.

"I'll go next if you don't mind. My name is William James Moriarty, but y'all can call me Moriarty if you want to." Moriarty said.

He spoke in an elegant manner, perhaps he was a noble from England? Well used to be a noble if the world did end.

It was now the boy with white hair with amber color eye's.

"I'm Makishima Shougo, it's a pleasure knowing you all and getting to.....study as well." Makishima said.

It seemed like he was trying to crack a joke on the last part but it seems like he didn't get a laugh or a chuckle at best.

"Tough crowd huh." He muttered but still was heard.

Next was a girl with blue eyes and abnormally large twin pigtails.

"Hii~ i'm Enoshima Junko, I look forward to getting to know you and have fun with you all." She said.

Strange, she was one of the few people who were unfazed from what was shown from AM. I'm no different from it either, since my facial expression hasn't changed from seeing and hearing from AM.

"She's a vibrant one isn't she?" Yokoya who was on my left muttered.

"She is isn't she.." Echidna who was on my right also muttered.

Also I see Echidna glancing at Enoshima's chest and back at her own and sighed. I wonder what's that about?

Perhaps I should ask her? No it would be too weird to ask someone why they were staring at someones chest. It would also imply that I was staring at their chests too.

Now next was the brown hair with brown eye's boy. He seemed hesitant at first but sighed and decided to introduce himself.

"I'm Yagami Light, but you can refer to me as Light since they're two Yagami's here." Light said.

"Well then, I guess everyone here can call me Takuya so it can differentiate us then haha." Takuya said and laughed awkwardly.

Next was a blonde hair boy with glasses.

"I'm Kisaki Tetta." Kisaki said.

He seems like someone who doesn't want to be aquainted with anyone here, or perhaps he was thinking about the situation and just wanted to get his introduction over with?
