"Look i don't really care to collaborate on anything especially not with Megan," irritation invaded Leo's tone as she spoke to her friend and manager, Kehlani.
"Listen you know she's a dope artist, regardless of y'all past i need y'all to do this track," Kehlani attempted to persuade Leo to change her mind about her ex.
"Kehlani I really don't want to,"
"She's going on tour and I think you two should go together," Kehlani blurted out. "It'll be good for your career,"
Leo sat back in the couch that was in the studio. She closed her eyes. She knew Kehlani was right, and she hated that.
"Aye," Megan knocked on the studio door before walking in. That gained both Kehlani and Monaleo's attention.
Leo sighed and rolled her eyes. "Listen I'm not tryna bother you Leo. If you don't want me here say that,"
"I don't want you here," the younger woman shrugged and pulled out her phone.
"I'll be back," Kehlani grabbed her things and locked the studio as she left.
"You should go with her," Leo pointed to the door making it clear to Megan that she wasn't wanted in the same room.
Megan sucked her teeth before attempting to open the door. Then a text from Lani dinged on both of their phones.
Lani🩷🎙️ I'm not letting y'all out that studio until y'all talk and agree to do a track
Monaleo groaned and Megan sucked her teeth.
"See what you got me into because you're childish?"
"I'm childish?" Monaleo and Megan began to bicker. "How am I childish?"
"Because you don't know how to communicate,"
"Yeah cause I'd want to communicate with the girl who cheated on me," sarcasm filled Leo's tone.
"I never cheated on you, she kissed me,"
Leo rolled her eyes. "I don't want to talk about this,"
"That's the whole reason we here anyway,"
Monaleo made herself comfortable on the couch. As she did, Megan sat at the other end moving Leo's feet.
She just glared over at Megan and used her sweater as a pillow. They sat in silence before Megan adjusted Monaleo's feet. She rubbed them. Something Leo always loved her to do when they were together. She just got her toes done earlier today and Megan already knew.
