Chapter 13 - The Ghouls At School

The problems with middle school is that the kid phase gets over with and then there is a slight maturing with the beginning of finding themselves. Then add that there is a town with a city portion filled with the big four. Devils, Angels, Falling Angels, and then the bringers of Chaos. 

Making matters worse, classes were over with as Slifer was at his locker when he heard something particular. He was keen on someone mentioning certain topics.

"Dude this bat girl of some kind with sweet tits was passing out these flyers on the third floor. But I don't know what it?" Said a classmate.

We wouldn't pass flyers around like this, right? Mom would kick my ass for doing it at school or spreading it out if they're not at least in high school yet. Thought Slifer.

He sent out a group text to the twins and Rose.

Hey. A guy by my locker said "A bat chicken was handing out flyers". Am I overthinking or is something just not right?

It weighed in his mind. The pre-teen was starting to turn the wheels a little bit. Maybe he was jumping the gun, but he was curious. His parents would be front and center if there was evil afoot. (EEEEE-vIIIIIIIL - Mermaid Man)

Slifer decided to give Rias a text to make sure.

Aunt Rias? There was a classmate talking about a bat girl handing out flyers here at school. There something going on we should know about?

All I do can. Slifer shrugged his shoulders and closed his locker.

*Ping*

I don't know anything floating around your school by any means. 

I'll ask Aunt Sona and go from there.

So I'm not crazy.

"Hey." Xavier walked up to him. 

"What's up?" Slifer thought this was too convenient. 

"You heard about the supposed bat girl too?" Xavier gave him a nod.

Slifer nodded back. "Until Aunt Rias gets back to me let's see what's going on. Our father's would appreciate us doing this the smart way."

Xavier chuckled. "Mom would take action and lunge forward. Weapons down and we ask around because we're curious."

"You got it. Let's head upstairs."

The two boys grabbed their backpacks and causally wanted to blend in. Worst case they could put them down and deploy their swords but, that was for emergencies only. Although before they got ahead of themselves, they ran up the stairs to see what was there. It was unusual to see ruckus. Today however, may have had other plans. There was as flyer on the floor near the top step. 

The boys took a look. It was a black piece of paper with a white summoning circle pattern. There was no doubt about it. But who was it from?

"Not my family." Slifer shook his head meaning that the Sitri family was out.
