Two Weeks Later

Beyonce stared at her phone as it went straight to voicemail for the fourth time after she'd been trying to get a hold of Bryelle.

She hadn't been answering none of her texts or calls for the past two weeks, which is unusual for her, but is nonetheless understandable given the situation. She was lied to her whole life by everyone around her for no apparent reason, as far as she knew.

Beyonce tried to reach out to Solange, Tina, even Kelly and Michelle so they could try to get through to her, but she wasn't giving anyone the time of day.

Cadence had also been trying to reach out to the both of them to apologize, but neither one had answered. Beyonce was a few seconds away from completely blocking and cutting Cadence out of her life. Out of all the out of pocket stuff she had said or done, this had to be the worst thing she's ever done.

Not only did she affect Beyonce with her actions, but her actions affected Bryelle greatly. The feuding between the two sisters got too out of hand and someone else got caught in the crossfire.

In addition to the family drama, Cadence bringing up the fact Beyonce had gotten pregnant so young, brought back memories that Beyonce spent years trying to bury in the back of her mind. All those nights she spent in tears, begging, and screaming resurfaced.

The night terrors that once plagued her dreams, also returned. Nearly every night ever since the dinner, Beyonce had been waking up in the middle of the night, screaming her throat dry. Each night, she spent nearly an hour trying to recollect her mind and convince herself that she was safe and away from the man who caused so much damage to her. That she was no longer that little girl, crying out for someone to come save her. No one came.

The nightmares were wrecking her mind, leaving her exhausted throughout the day. It had gotten to the point that she turned to mixing sleeping pills and alcohol to send her into a dreamless sleep in avoidance of the nightmares. It wasn't until Kelly caught her mixing the two together, that she stopped.

The one reason she was truly fighting the urges to let go of everything, was because she knew her child needed her. Her children needed her.

Beyonce had Kelly come to get Brannon earlier in the week, because she knew she wasn't in a good position and didn't want that to transfer on to their son.

She currently laid in bed, barely paying attention to whatever movie was playing on her mounted TV. Another nightmare plagued her dreams the previous night, leaving her awake since four in the morning. She hadn't been back to sleep and it was nearing four in the evening.

When her bedroom creaked open, she jumped up and looked towards the door, seeing Shawn standing in the door way, holding a bag from Shake Shack. Once she realized it was him, she only gave him a glance before laying back down.

"Bey, you need to eat something. I know how you get-"

"You don't know anything, Shawn. I don't even recall telling you that you could come back here." She cut him off, sending a glare his way. Shawn rolled his eyes in annoyance at her rudeness and sat the food bag down next to her.

"This is my house too, Beyonce. I shouldn't have to ask you for permission to enter the house that we share." He snapped back, adding a bit of bass to his voice.
