Nagato and Mutsu set sail to support the main fleet in a battle against the alien spaceships.

Mutsu: Nagato, it has been a while since we battled, huh?

Nagato: It has been almost 400 years since I saw combat. It was also the time when I gave my flagship position to Yamato.

Mutsu: Why did you even lend her your position??

Nagato: I had to speak to the Sakura Souls about the overwhelming Siren situations back then.

When they arrive, Purifier screams:

Purifier: Took you long enough to get here! We need backline support! We're falling!

Nagato: Sorry... We were just talking about how we never fired our cannons since a few centuries before.

Observer Zero: What?! Your guns were never tested?! What are you even doing here if your guns aren't even approved and safe?!

Mutsu: Well, you asked for support... So...

Suddenly a lazer blasted them further back. With most of the shipgirls falling behind and being unable to fight, it was evident that Azur Lane was going to die. Suddenly, Purifier pulled out a round purple-infused black coin.

Purifier: We can't win! There's too much of them! Nagato! Mutsu! Come here! So I need you two to go to the past and fix what we did wrong! There is not much time left!

She throws the coin on the water and it opens a portal to the past.

Purifier: It's a portal token configured to the past! 200 years should give you enough time! Nagato you're the only one who can speak to the Sakura souls! Mutsu, be her bodyguard and support!

Mutsu: *Puts a paper in a can and throws it in the  water* Aye!

Purifier: Farewell Nagato and Mutsu! Until we see again! The nation salutes you!

Nagato: But...

Kawakaze: Go in fast!!!

Kawakaze pushes the two shipgirls in the portal just before a billiant light engulfs their world...

The light of dusk wakes you up. You just do your casual stuff aboard the Harekaze. You see the school in the front of the ship. In the docks were plain emptiness. No other ship had returned before the Harekaze. You look at your left and see that two docks were actually taken by two massive ships that seemed familiar to you. Well, you had to see that for yourself of course. You dock your own ship next to the two massive ships juat behind them so that the Harekaze doesn't get a first sight of it them they look that way. The Harekaze docks and the girls start to wake up except Shiro who steered the ship. A few minutes later a ramp was placed and the group gets off the destroyer, including you. Most of the girls went to the school were they neded to attend a word from the principal, while you were going to look at the ships. You thought that it could have been new training ships because of the red lines painted the way they were on the Musashi and the Harekaze.
