She Knows?

"My Phone," I said as I went to snatch it out of her hands but as I did she held it just out of reach. "Ask nicely," she said. "Can I please have my phone back?" I asked as calmly as possible but it came out in a panicked tone because of what my lock screen was. "Here you go princess," She said as she handed it to me I was too shocked even to take my phone back. She laughed a little bit and handed it to me. "Yeah I know," she said as she grabbed her things and left. I was left in that classroom flabbergasted I packed my stuff took my phone and ran. Now I never run and today I ran faster than I ever have in 18 years. It was an odd first real impression because now my teacher knows one of my biggest secrets and I don't know what to do.

I woke up the next day and had no classes because the professor was sick so I went to go into the town today. So I took the bus alone for the first time, I was scared but I had my earbuds luckily so I could listen to music. I had finally got to the store, I had been feeling anxious all day and as I was standing in the middle of the candy aisle in a dollar store I knew why it was because I was slipping into little space. I had a basket with some school supplies and a pack of redbull but those items were hard to see underneath the copious amounts of candy.

I had paid for my items and stuffed them into my backpack and I noticed a McDicks and wanted an iced coffee I walked in and guess who was standing there, Jesse. As soon as I went to pick up my iced coffee from the counter she locked eyes on me I tried walking past with my head down but I tripped and spilt my iced coffee. Jesse helped me up as a staff member came to mop up the coffee I kept apologizing "I'm so so sorry sir I didn't mean to spill it, let me clean it" I said to the McDicks worker he just shook his head, and said "Don't worry about it Ms, its my job" Jesse disappeared for a moment but just as I had noticed she was gone she was back with a new iced coffee for me. "Here you go Pretty girl," she said as she handed it to me "Thanks Jesse but you didn't need to let me give you the money," I said as I was handing her some loose change she just shook her head and pushed my hand back "Don't worry about it" she said.

I took a sip of the iced coffee and cringed but luckily she didn't see. Suddenly she got down on her knee and grabbed my shoe "Jesse what are you doing" I shrieked "Tying your shoe, that's how you tripped" She replied without missing a beat this small act made me slip into little space. She then got up and started to walk out I just stood there staring at her. I guess when she noticed I wasn't following behind her she turned back "Aren't you coming?" I slowly began to walk near her and she held the doors open for me as we left the McDicks.

We continued walking until we were at a parking lot she then opened the back door of her car and looked at me. "Can't I sit in the front?" I asked her but Jesse just shook her head and said "No sorry only big girls can sit in the front" I guess she could tell I had slipped. I went to walk near the backseat but I noticed a car seat inside I took a step back and looked at her "No, no way am I sitting in that" I stated and looked around wanting to make sure there weren't people passing by to see this. "Come on princess get in," she said trying to usher me inside but I pushed backward "No what if someone sees," I said looking at her she smiled and said "Don't worry I'll stand in front of the door" I then reluctantly got inside the booster seat which

I have to admit was quite comfy and just like Jesse said she stood in front of the door and she also put my bag on the ground by my feet. Jesse started buckling me in and once she was done she went to the driver's side and started the car. I pulled out my phone and put my earbuds away. I asked Jesse if I could play music she said yes and helped me Bluetooth to her car.
