Shubman and Ishika walked home together arguing over some cricket topic that only they knew how they ended up on .
"How can you even compare Rohit to the king of cricket? " Shubman argued.
" Are you kidding me rn , do you think my dear Hitman who is the G.O.A.T is not greater than Virat ? Have you even watched Sharma play ?" Ishika scoffed visibly annoyed .
" Speak for yourself, have you seen how many times King Kohli has saved India from losing a very difficult match " Shubman snapped at her.
" Oh please , have you literally forgotten that Rohit was right there too. Its like you forget what Rohit did just because you are too googoo gaagaa over Virat " Ishika looked at him dead in the eye. She wasn't gonna back off .
" I disagree that Rohit can even be equal to King. Have you even watched Virat playing tests ? It's an emotion . You cant even imagine test cricket without Virat and that makes him superior " Shubman said . Although Ishika internally agreed and respected Virat but she was not gonna back off when Shubman was literally acting like her idol was nothing.
" I guess that is all you have to say about Virat because guess what Rohit got MI 5 ipl trophies . I wonder how many trophies Rcb has " Ishika snapped back , impressed with her own comeback . The look on Shubman's face said it all . Ishika had steeped low and she was oh so very happy about a grin on her face .
" You DID NOT JUST SAY THAT young lady " Shubman glared back shock written all over his face . It would take him a minute to get a decent comeback.
" Oh yes , you bet i did " Ishika smirked knowing very well what she did .
Needless to say they argued all the way back and just mutually agreed that it was not Rohit or Virat but it was Rohirat as they entered the house.
That was the beauty of their relationship they could be all lovey dovey one minute and then act like bestfriends the next , arguing like they were a part of a debate contest .
Their common interests made their relationship flourish . Unlike most couples where it was just all love and cuddles , this couple was equally fun , prancing each other , arguing with each other over the silliest things acting like kids around each other .
At the end of the day all shubman and Ishika could think was " I like me better when I'm with you "
