Why do I bother (BBQ update)

Yes hello it's late February update and nothing even happened this month so why do I bother.

Alright so since nothing happened and I don't think we've talked about the BBQ yet (which I left a teaser about at some point even though idk if it's the same BBQ and it's probably not), let's talk about it!

This- I mean last- I mean 2 years ago which is 2022, for Chinese New Year, during the great spring gala, we had BBQ. Which is great because it was the first time we had BBQ together, but not so great because we can't bring a TV to the BBQ pit to watch the great spring gala. Also, on an unrelated note, every year we watch the great spring gala for the entire 15 days of Chinese New Year as there are many great spring galas and they each last for hours. And yes I WILL use bold lettering every time I say great spring gala because of how great it is.

My mom: Hey check it out the first song is playing!
Me: Wow that's like my favorite song! (That is the debut of that song????? how can it already be your favorite you suspicious person!!)

And yeah we eventually got distracted and completely forgot about the great spring gala and ended up listening to random soundtracks. Kelly and I mainly just talked and ate fruits until meat was cooked and served. Oh right I think that was around she told me the time the 5 cents joke, which I don't think I've shared here yet so:
(I forgot exactly what their names were, sorry)

Person 1: I have no money :(
Person 2 (that you Kel?): Here, have 5 cents!
Person 1: Wow thanks- wait what do I do with 5 cents?
Person 2: I don't know.
Person 1: What do I do with 5 cents??
Person 2: I don't know!!
Person 1: WHAT DO I DO WITH 5 CENTS?? *starts chasing*
Person 2: I DON'T KNOW!! *starts running*
Person 3: SHE SAID SHE DOESN'T KNOW!! *starts running with them*
Person 1: WHAT DO I DO WITH 5 CENTS?!?!?!?!? *continues chasing*
Person 2: I DON'T KNOW!?!?!?!?! *continues running*
Person 3: SHE SAID SHE DOESN'T KNOW!?!?!?!?! *continues running with them*

beep—

Person 4: whatcha doin-
Person 1: WHAT. DO. I. DO. WITH. 5. CENTS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Person 4: idk buy something like grass or...
Person 1: Great thanks- wait where do I buy grass? (And why do I even need to?)
Person 4: *takes grass out of pocket* Here!
Person 1: Yay! Even though the fact that you have grass in your pocket is kind of questionable! But who cares! *buys grass*
Person 2 and Person 3: Yay!

Person 4: ...
Person 4: now what do I do with 5 cents?

Alright cut that's enough!

Yeah that was a cool story, now where were we... AH yes the BBQ. I won't talk too much about the actual BBQ cos if you want to know what a BBQ is like, go book a BBQ pit or buy a BBQ machine or go to a BBQ store and experience it yourself! It's fun and the food is nice, as long as you make sure you don't cook yourself by accident! We had our professional parent team to cook for us so we didn't have to worry.

Now, the ending. Towards the end, we went to one of the many swimming pools at my condo to relax. As it was already nighttime, the sky was dark and the lights in the pool were lit up. We sat on the edge and dipped our feet in the water. We also got some sticks from the stick pile at the side and drew patterns in the water. With the pool lights illuminating the patterns and the soothing splashes of water in the background, it almost seemed magical. It felt amazing. A special kind of amazing that I don't know how exactly to describe. It was like we were the only people in the world, as there was nobody else.

Nobody else huh except the lady that interrupted and told us to leave. Ok I get why but still we were having a great moment-
Eh never mind we still managed to have some fun laying on the chairs on the other side of the pool. Overall a fun night!
