Hello, readers! We're back with me talking about MILGRAM! For this topic, I'm going to talk about my verdict for the 2nd Trial of MILGRAM. The 2nd Trial will properly conclude at any point this year, and I want to celebrate it by trying to distinguish whether or not I should forgive these prisoners for this trial. After looking into the metamorphosis of our prisoners (and also Es' character development), I know for a fact how much the votes really affect them... In both good and bad...

Reminder that my verdicts for the prisoners are my opinions. The MVs and character portrayals may be interpreted differently on person to person. You may disagree with my verdicts, but you also have to respect their opinions. Everyone in the audience have different interpretations of the MVs and how the project portrayed their characters. I just want that to be said, as I viewed MVs and the prisoners quite differently from your interpretation. Now, without further a do, let me present to you all my verdict of MILGRAM's 2nd Trial!

First off, we got Haruka Sakurai... Oh boy... I'm conflicted with my vote for him this time around... Basing it on his song, All Knowing And All Agony, I would feel the urge to forgive him. It just hits hard for me, as I found it to be relatable. As for why, well... I also felt the same way, as I also yearned attention and at least be recognized to be normal... Even though I think I'm weird... But really, he deserved therapy, not the environment of MILGRAM. I'll forgive him deep within, but as of now... Our votes are now getting critical... Haruka needs to at least realize that murder for attention is wrong, and he needs to chill out. As much as I want to forgive you so badly, you need to know that you're seeing this differently and need to acknowledge that murder is wrong, in your circumstances. You deserved therapy more, Haruka...

Next, we have Yuno Kashiki. After getting some context about Yuno in her song, Tear Drop, she's pretty much blunt and straight to the point. The themes of MILGRAM are now being set into motion through some of our prisoners. Even though I'm still conflicted by her murder (especially with how she's willing to continue doing the deed, as it can be unhealthy), I think forgiving her is the only route I'm willing to take for her. Why, you may ask? Well, voting her to be forgiven means we support her, in terms of being her own person. That's because Yuno doesn't care if she'll be forgiven or not. It's justified here, to the point where she started to be disappointed at us, the audience... So, our verdict for Yuno doesn't really matter for her character progression, but she brings up a lot of interesting things in the table. For being her own person, I rather leave her be and do her own thing.

Next up is Fuuta Kajiyama... Damn... That literally shook my heart too hard from angst... AND PRESSURE! The MV and VD of Fuuta just hits so hard with wanting me to pity for the guy. It makes me want to forgive him, and it's for the better for us to forgive him. We can now see that he regretted what he had done, and we gave him enough sense... After Kotoko doing the deed of being Es' fang... Seriously, that made me feel so bad for Fuuta, as I can tell how defenseless he was when he's been beaten up by Kotoko... Thus, we gave Fuuta some sense and I'll forgive him for now. He needs therapy from all of this so badly...

Next is Mu Kusonoki... Well... Remember when I said that my perspective of the vote changed once I heard the 1st trial VD and her personality shift at the 2nd trial? Well... That's such a statement! I got the urge to vote her unforgiven. However, maris_universe bring up interesting analysis on Mu, as it's one of her favorite prisoners in MILGRAM. It gives me a different perspective to Mu's character, and I can see how complex she really is. As of this moment, I'm feeling the urge to not forgive her, but I'm conflicted on whether I should forgive her or not.

Next to Mu is Shidou Kirisaki! Definitely forgiving him, like last trial! His crimes may be seen to be "unforgivable" I still check his validity as a licensed doctor. He even used it to heal Fuuta and Mahiru's injuries. For strategy purposes, it's likely that we'll forgive him. However, what solidified him to be forgivable is his motive as to why he wanted to be unforgiven. He has a family, and I can't help but smile bittersweetly, because they died and is implied to be the motivation for Shidou to do the organ transplant. It's quite morally gray, but I really love the touch of humanity in Shidou. Let this dude have the will to live for once, MILGRAM! No to Shidou being conflicted on whether he should live or die from his sins in MILGRAM!

Up next is Mahiru Shina! Okay... I'm not okay after listening to the MV and VD, as Mahiru went downhill physically and mentally. We all pity her for suffering from Kotoko's wrath... Still, with her eyes somewhat open, she's able to see the toxicity of her love. I'm still conflicted with her, but it's clear that she somehow feel the guilt after realizing what she did. Plus, he rap is spitting with slayness, which is even more depressing than ever! I need help after all this... Still, I'll forgive her for now, to prevent even more casualties and shatter her heart even further...

Next on the list is Kazui Mukuhara. Oh boy... I'm still conflicted with Kazui's, but this time... It's clear that we need to pay attention to Kazui's way of expressing his feelings in both MV and VD. Thanks to all that, it's clear that he truly regrets what he did to his wife. Same can be said for his 1st Trial MV, but the visuals are quite distracting... Still, I'll forgive him and see where this going until the end. Like what he told us, we'll end his suffering of lying throughout his life. That, I'll gladly do for the sake of ending his suffering.

Up next on the list now is Amane Momose! First of all... We, the community, aren't quite a good voter for meta voting Amane like that... We made her worse, yet I think it'll be the same thing for when she'll be forgiven... Regardless, I'm very conflicted on this, yet I'm going to forgive her. It just proves that she just doesn't deserved to be in that situation even more! Plus, her MV is getting quite dark... For a 12 year old like her to start getting that much angst... She needs to at least get therapy or an accompany that'll help her with getting out of her fearful mindset...

Then, we're now at Mikoto Kayano... Remember when I said that I'll never forgive him? That's my first impression of Mikoto after watching his MV and practically his VD, because it's in the perspective of Mikoto... But with the confirmation of being a system, we get the perspective of his other identity, John (Es named him that, but the fact that it's a dog name just made me giggle because John as Mikoto's guard dog is stuck in my mind). It's there I realize how there's some things they did right with DID, especially with why John is fronting more in the 2nd Trial. Mikoto is in constant stress, and that made me emotionally done. His MV even proved that, and I feel the pain between Mikoto and John for going on with this. For their sakes, Mikoto will be forgiven. But the fact that he's been shown as a "psychopath" in the 1st Trial just proves that Mikoto misunderstood his situation right now, so he needs to wake up from his "dream" and accept the reality.

And finally, we got Kotoko Yuzuriha. Okay... Undercover, Deep Cover... How DEEP will these parallels grow? UNDER? ... Nah, that's a bad joke... But seriously though, her song and MV was awesome! Despite that, I'm conflicted with forgiving her or not. Seeing the damages though, I won't forgive her. Her vigilante justice mindset won't change (but might get disappointed at us for not forgiving her), but knowing that the unforgiven will be restrained... We have to at least restrain her from doing more casualties to the other prisoners... I hope... Kotoko becoming Es' fang made MILGRAM interesting, but... She needs restrainment... For now...

And that's my verdict on the 2nd Trial so far! I have to admit, it's more conflicting compared to Trial 1... That's because the gray morality system in each of the characters are explained in further detail... Once again uttering it's a good thing, as our characters feel like real people that were suffering deep within... Now, I hope that you all were sticking up to the very end in reading my verdict. I also wanted to hear your verdicts about these prisoners now. So, what's your verdict on these prisoners in the 2nd Trial? I definitely want to know! That's all, and have a great day!
