littlepaw's eyes gleamed with a mix of nervousness and excitement. she had spent the last few days in the medicine den recovering from her attack, but was now finally ready to start her training. while she had enjoyed her time in the comfort of the medicine den, having been fed prey that was delivered to her, and being told stories by the two elderly cats who would frequently visit her, it was nice to feel the wind in her whiskers once again - even if it was a change of pace and scenery.
she glanced over at hollyhockfang, who walked next to her, his steps silent and measured.

at first, he had been reluctant, doubting his ability to mentor the spirited young she who survived such an attack. but, with comforting words from sweetsun, mothstar and milkfang, hollyhockfang's mind soon changed.
he could do it - he could train a cat.
they walked in silence, both lost in their thoughts, until they reached a clearing dotted with holes in the earth. hollyhockfang stopped and turned to the small she-cat beside him, studying her for a minute.
