______Sidharth arrived with sweets and knocked on the door. He could hear the laughing sound coming from inside and could guess that it was his friend Adith and Shiv, who had paid a visit to his house.
"Hi bro! Welcome!", Adith welcomed Sidharth as if it were his own house. They both gave a quick hug as soon as Sidharth stepped in.
"What's up, bro?", Shiv asked with a hug.
"All good. What's with you?", Sidharth asked.
"Good good! Oh! Sweets!!", Shiv uttered before pulling the box from his hand and opening it and popping a piece of sweet into his mouth. They had been roommates and such close friends that they never had any hesitation or formalities.
"Yeah go on! First finish this. Why even bother asking the reason.", Sidharth frowned and playfully punched Shiv in his tummy. Sidharth's mother smiled at their banter.
"Reason? Any good news?", Adith joined picking up a piece of sweet and putting into his mouth.
"Yes, didn't you tell them, Sana?", Sidharth asked.
"Not yet. I thought, I will tell them once you get the sweets.", Sana replied.
"What? Really?", Everyone's mouth was wide open in surprise.
"This is great news. Congratulations, Sana.", Sidharth's mother hugged Sana with a happy smile.
"Thank you Aayi..", Sana smiled from ear to ear.
"I'll take care of everything at home. Don't stress yourself too much about work. Did you tell your parents yet?", Rekha asked.
"Not yet. I will call them later.", Sana replied.
"Let me know whenever you call. I will wish them too.", Rekha said and Sana nodded.
"I am going to light a ghee lamp infront of God and thank him.", Rekha said and went into the kitchen where they had kept the little alter.
"Wow!! Congrats bro!", Adith pulled Sidharth into a bear hug.
"Congrats bro!!", Shiv hugged them together.
"Huh! Why me? You should be congratulating Sanà", Sidharth asked perplexed.
"Why? Without your companionship and support, do you think it would have been possible? Isn't it Sana?", Adith teasingly nudged his elbow with Sidharth's elbow.
"Yes, of course.", Sana instantly agreed.
"Congratulations Sana.", Sidharth's friend wished.
"Thanks.", Sana smiled.
"Shiv, This is also one of the reasons why I was telling you that we should get married at the earliest. I don't want to be called Uncle. At least not until I get married.", Adith said
"Huh! Get married. It's easier to say for you since you already have a girlfriend.", Shiv said.
"Yeah, right. I have a girlfriend and you have girlfriends. Indeed it's difficult for you." Adith smirked.
"Jealous soul. Well, on the contrary, I have a better plan than marriage! Sidharth, I want to strike a deal with you.", Shiv said.
"What deal?", Sidharth asked.
"Your kid should call me 'Bro'. Strictly no calling uncle.", Shiv said.
"My kid.. hmmmm..", Sidharth deeply sighed looking at Sana while she looked down a little shy.
"Yeah, then Sidharth would have to call you son..", Adith threw sarcasm at Shiv's comment.
"I am fine with that. As long as his kid doesn't call me uncle..", Shiv replied
