{¤AVI'S POV¤}

I sit cross-legged next to Mitch, who did likewise, watching the beautiful sunset in a serene environment.

"I'm not complaining, this place is absolutely mesmerising. But why did you bring me here?".

Silence. Insert cricket sound here.

"Mitch?". I wave my hand in front him. "Earth to Mitch?".

He mumbles something incoherent, something that sounded like "Fuck it.". Before I know it, he pulls me down, crashing his lips against mine.

Does this mean he likes me?

Of course, Avi, why else would he kiss you?

But, oh lordy, I've been wanting to do that for 10 months.

I came out 2 months ago, but I never had the courage to actually ask him out. We became even better friends which was so not what I wanted but if I did confess then our friendship was at risk.

After overcoming the shock, I finally kiss him back. I am officially on cloud nine goodbye you mortals.

We reluctantly pull away for breath after what seemed like forever.

"I wish I would've done this earlier.", I whisper.

"I know, Avi.", he whispers back, stroking my beard.

I jump back. He knew? SINCE WHEN?

"I know what you're thinking, Avriel. It really wasn't hard to hear Kirstie screaming about how you were checking me out. You guys were standing right OUTSIDE the door."

Okay, now I really don't know whether to be mad at Kirstie or really really happy with her.

"I actually told Scott that I like you. So you told Kirstie and I told Scott. Is Kevin clueless?".

I scoff. "Of course not, he was the first person I told.".

He winks. "Let's keep this a secret from them. And then one day all of a sudden we'll kiss in front of them.".

"Good idea, love. But it's getting dark, we should head home.".

He claps his hands. "Even better, let's get some food for them and us. They'll be very suspicious if they see us coming empty-handed.".

□KIRSTIE'S POV□ (Basically this same day but what was happening at the house while the two were out.)

Shortly after Mitch and Avi had left, Scott also leaves to go to the gym. Great, I can finally talk to Dominic.

"Dom, can I talk?".

"Hey, sure Anni! You've been pretty down in the dumps today.".

"Yeah, well, I wanted to talk to you about it. I don't like staying bottled up.".

He goes and sits down on his bed, beckoning me over. I sit on the free space in front of him.

"Okay, before you say anything about why you're sad, tell me HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU MANAGE TO GET TO KNOW THEIR NAMES IN A MERE WEEK?". His voice went from a calm, soothing voice to a screech. Ouch, Dominic.

I shrug. "I knew them from before.".

He finally calms down. "So anyway, I'm Kevin Olusola.".

I chuckle. "I'm Kirstie Maldonado. More formally known as Kirstin but only my mom says that.".

Mom...

"Well, she used to say that.".

"Is that what you've been upset about? Why though? I mean, you ran away, didn't you?".

I sigh. "That's exactly what Mitch said when I told him that she died. And yes, I did run away. But if I told Scott, he wouldn't be able to bear it.".

I tell him the whole story of how I got abused, of how I knew Scott and Mitch and how Peyton is against me.

"-and so now she can come to this house with our huge ass family and murder me.".

He grins. "That's perfect for what I was about to tell you.".

"Kevin Olusola, you and Mitch have kept on mercilessly taunting me about this so-called 'good news'.".

"The thing is, a 2 bedroom house isn't enough for 5 people and their recording equipment. We're moving houses!".

I squeal. "PEYTON CAN'T KILL ME ANYMORE! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH.".

"And we live right in front of Sophie Montgomery, you know, the actress Scott and Mitch have a hundred pictures of?". (SHOUTOUT TO U SOPHIE BBY :D)

"Did you tell them that yet?".

"I'm sorry but I value my ears and hearing. Those two fangirls would shatter every window with their screams if they knew.".
