"It's nice to meet you, Elizabeth.".

She chuckles. "That makes me feel like a prissy old queen. Call me Liz.".

Wow, it's barely been 5 minutes and she's already warming up to us. Us being Esther, Avi and I. And I'm pretty sure you're like 'Wait, who's Liz?'. Turns out Kevin's been dating Elizabeth, or 'Liz', for 3 months already. He didn't even tell us. Um, rude. Even Avi didn't know this and that's odd.

"Where's Scotty, Kirst and Soph?".

"As far as I know, Sophie was talking to Kirstie and Scott's in his room.".

"Esther, can you call them? I need to tell all of them something.". She nods, clearly knowing what I was about to tell. Avi takes Esther's place beside me and we make small talk with Liz, ignoring Kevin. Guess he already regrets bringing Liz over.

Soon, Esther came downstairs, followed by the three absentees. They look at Liz, raising an eyebrow at us as to ask who she is. I mouth 'Kevin's girlfriend'.

"Oh my, since when did Kevin have a girlfriend?", Kirstie asks, in shock.

"Apparently since 3 months.", Avi grumbles. "Come on, Avi, don't be pissed because your dear friend didn't tell you.".

"Hi, I'm Liz. You must be Scott, Kirstie and Sophie.", Liz chimes in.

"Off to a good start, considering you know all of our names.", adds Sophie. "Okay, what did you want to tell us, Sass Master?".

I decide to go with the way I've told Esther. By simply kissing Avi.

"Now look who didn't tell their dear best friend anything, Avi.", Kevin mutters, but can't keep the smile off his face. 

"MAVI! MAVI!", Kirstie cheers, while the others laugh.

I notice Scott looking at Kirstie. Fucking obvious, of course he's looking at Kirstie, everyone's looking at Kirstie! But while the others are laughing, he's just staring at her, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"Damn, we only have two people who are single in this group now.", I say, glancing at both Kirstie and Scott.

Scott opens his mouth to say something, but Kirstie interrupts.

"Yup, single pringles.". He immediately closes his mouth, smiling. 

I'm confused.

~·*·|SOPHIE'S POV|·*·~  

I look at Kirstie, surprised. Since all of them are in relationships, I assumed that the two of them would tell too. It sure looked like Scott was about to tell them. 

"Esther, can I help you cook?", Scott pleads. Shit, this was NOT going to end well.

Esther hesitates before answering. "O-okay, Scott.".

*an hour later* (Still Sophie's POV)

"Um, what's that smell?". "Huh, what smell?". All of us sniff, trying to find out what this is.

"OH FUCK!", Scott shouts from the kitchen. Oh hell no. I knew Scott should never have entered the kitchen.

"BEYONCE SAVE US!", Scott screams yet again. No, Scott. There's a fucking fire in our kitchen and all you can think of is Beyonce?

The smoke alarm goes off and we all look at each other, frozen in panic.

"Alright, everyone, get out of the house, quick! Kevin, call 9-1-1!.", Esther orders.

We all run outside, not wasting a single minute.

Don't panic. Don't panic. Don't panic.

I dial 9-1-1 as quickly as possible, hoping they'd pick up quickly.

"H-hello? There's a fire over here.".

-/SCOTT'S POV\-

Oops.

We were all staying at a hotel for the night just to stay safe. To be honest, I like hotels. They're fun. I mean, I could be doing anything that I would do back home, but it would feel a lot mootre, y'know, exciting at a hotel.

It sorta seems like Kirstie doesn't want to reveal anything. Fuck, it really would have been a good time to do so, considering that Mitch and Avi told us and so did Kevin and Liz.
