Y/N pov:
"What the hell are you trying to get at?" Aoi asked me with that gruff and unfriendly tone of hers.
"I'm trying to tell you that there's an alternative to that equation. Listen. You take Y2 and X2 and subtract it by Y1 and X1, you get a fraction. Divide all that up, and you get the slope of the root. Get it?" I told her as we continued to walk down the hallway.
Aoi just looked at me with a brow raised. "I didn't get any of that." She said.
I sighed and closed my eyes. "Oh well. Suck it up. I ain't explaining all that again." I told her bluntly.
Aoi scoffed. "Heh. Looks like the brainiac's lost his tongue. Who would've thought." Aoi said with a small smirk on her face.
"Whatever. We're here anyway." I said as we turned the corner. I placed my hands on the door and looked to Aoi before opening it. "Just don't tell anyone I explained the whole exam to you. Gets me into such trouble." I told her as I slid the doors open.
Aoi and I walked inside the Student Council room. Everyone turned their attention to us as we stepped further in. "Aoi. About time. Y/N. Your presence was unexpected, but welcome. We will now begin the meeting. If you'd be so kind as to shut the door." Kuroko told me.
I nodded and slid the doors shut and walked further into the room. I approached the table. "So, whatcha talking about today? Lemme guess, the new food stand outside? Oh, oh, I know! A new accident in the lab?" I asked them sarcastically.
Kuroko adjusted her glasses in irritation. "Now is not the time for jokes, Y/N. This is serious. It's about a disappearance." She told me.
My amused expression then dropped to a concerned one. "What..." I mumbled.
"Last week, a student who goes by Osana Najimi had disappeared off school ground for the past week. Nobody knows what happened to her or where she went. As a result, we have sent our a missing person case and have installed security cameras in the front entrance. Everyone is advised to say on high alert for the remaining weeks. Any questions?" Kuroko finished.
"Geez. Do you guys need to take extreme precautions? Maybe she dropped out or something. Or ran away, who knows?" I replied.
"That's a possibility, but unlikely. According to her parents, they've had a very good relationship. So I doubt she would've ran away." Kuroko replied.
"Geez. And I thought I loved dark comedy." Shiromi remarked spontaneously.
"I need you to take this seriously. This is not a joke." Kuroko responded.
Aoi scoffed. "That's cold-blooded." She remarked.
Akrane put her hands on her chest and gave a concerned look. "Oh dear, that wasn't nice." She said.
"Okay, everyone just calm down. We can sort this out... together." I advised everyone. I turned back to Kuroko. "So what now? What do you advise the rest of the students, like me, to do?" I asked her.
"I advise you stay on your guard. This school is anything but safe right now." She said before standing up. She turned to her fellow colleagues. "You know your duties. We have a school to protect." Kuroko said before everyone went to the door, ready to go out on patrol.
"Aye-aye, captain!" Shiromi said saluting playfully.
Shiromi and I were the last ones to get out of the room. We stood up and followed the rest of the pack. "Geez. A possibility of a killer in the school makes me sick." I told her.
Shiromi seemed completely unfazed as she usually was. "Meh. Doesn't mean much to me. We all die at some point." She replied.
I looked at her and raised a brow. "Well don't you feel concern for you life? Knowing you, probably not..." I muttered.
Shiromi shrugged. "I do. But I ain't gonna live in fear. We only live once, right?" She asked me with that same smile.
"Well, you can't live that life if you don't have it. That's just simple logic." I told her.
Shiromi closed her eyes and giggled. She then looked up at me with that sly smile of hers. "Is it, Y/N? Is it?" She asked me before walking away.
I rubbed my arm not knowing what to make of it. Shiromi always gave me the creeps but the killer case was more than enough to shake me up. I don't know what to be creeped out by anymore.
I was concerned with staying alive.

Late that night, the moon was shining bright and the stars were out. The best time for star-spotting. I was on the roof of the school with Kaga with a telescope trying to find the little dipper.
Kaga was sitting on a bench while I was searching the sky for that star.
"What will it be next? Explosive gel? Oh, oh! I got it! Confetti gun! That would be the perfect party sevener! Am I right?" He asked me with his crazed grin.
"Who in their right mind would use a confetti gun?" I asked him while still trying to find that damn star.
"Uh, for birthday parties, proms. Something of the sorts." He said trying to think.
I scoffed and zoomed in. "At least it's better than the explosive gel idea. Sounds less destructive." I replied.
"Who said anything about destructive? Hmm? Who do I look like to you? A psychopath?!" Kaga snarked at me.
"You sure do act like one." I replied back.
"Oh... You think you're so cleaver, don't you?! Well, no matter. I will simply put you first on the list of victims I plan to eliminate when I conquer mankind! HAHAHAHAHA- Oh wait... What was I saying?" Kaga reflected back on himself.
"I'm pleased you hold me to such high standards. I will make sure to shove you in icebox before that happens." I told him while still keeping full concentration on my task.
"Geez. I was only kidding..." Kaga told me.
"Hmph. I bet you were." I said. I scrolled right and right and I finally found the little dipper. "HA! Gotcha!" I exclaimed taking out a paper and a pen. "That'll be enough to pass the exam! Thanks Kaga! You've been a real big help." I replied sarcastically while walking away from the area.
Kaga looked at me with a rather irritated look on his face. "Hey! Aren't you gonna pick that up?!" He yelled.
"Nope." I simply replied walking out the doors and approaching the stairs.

I got home after an hour or so. I walked through the door and threw my bags on the couch nearby. I ran upstairs to my room and closed the door behind me.
The first thing I did when I got inside was turn on my computer and cracked open a drink. For my favorite activity of all. Binge watching. It helped me unwind somedays. Especially when I had a stressful exam coming up. Or maybe I was just a lazy bastard, who knows.
Allow me to introduce myself...
My name is Y/N L/N. And this is my life at Akademi High...
