Third pov-
Night came fast as the two groups set up camp. They were all chatting and eating as they shared stories.

"Waw, you guys are quite adventurous." Baiyu chuckled. "We are just a research group, sure we've had our fair share of adventure but you guys, man, that's almost out of a novel." He shook his head smiling lightly.

"Oh, research? As in for trips?" Wu wie tried to get abit of information about the three's job.

"We are historian researchers. We look for interesting stories of the past and record it." Yi long smiled lightly finding the young boy cute.

"Ayoo, what a grand job. It has it all the noble idea of conserving the past and the adventure of all the trips." Pang zi joined in as Chen yi giggled.

"It is, it is. We've been to all over, there was this one story that absolutely captivated me. It was about a general and his lutenant, it seemed that they had protected and died for eachother, promising to be sworn brothers again in their next life. Ahh, so romantic." Chen yi clutched her chest and giggled.

"She gets like that sometimes." Baiyu laughed at his young teammate. It seemed like everyone was getting along well but Wu xie realized that Qiling had gone to the tent already. He excused himself and went to find him.

"Xiao ge?" Wu xie called, stepping into the tent. He saw Qiling in the corner laying down, his back to him. "Are you sleeping?" He walked closer to him only to trip on something and almost face planted into Qiling. Luckily Qiling was fast enough to roll over and catch him before he got the full force of falling.

"Careful." Qiling said as Wu xie collected himself and sat next to him. Qiling sat up as well.

"Sorry, wait. Hey!! You were awake!" Wu xie grumbled at the mute boy opposite him. "Ha, Xiao ge, what's wrong? You seem abit.. out of it. Are you ok?" Wu xie tried to get any information from him, staring at his dark eyes that seemed to be lost even to himself.

"Wu xie...." Qiling called out gently as they stared at each other. Nothing but the chattering outside could be heard and if you listened closely enough, the two boy's heart beats that were beating abit too fast.

"Yeah?" Wu xie asked hesitently, finally breaking the silence.

"Sleep." Qiling said and pulled Wu xie while laying next to him.

"Oh, ah, ok, yeah, let's sleep. Goodnight Xiao ge." Wu wie said softly, turing away from the boy next to him, who was facing him. 'I mean I can't lie down facing him cause then our faces would be way too close and if I lie down straight, I would still feel him there and would blush way too much so best solution is my back to him, yep, I mean it's not like Xiao ge would move in his sleep so there is no possible way.....' One thing interupted Wu xie's little rant in his head. A hand that had rested on his upper arm. One pat, two pats, three pats, it continued like that and Wu xie thought his heart would have burst but no, something even more strange happened.

"Goodnight, Wu xie." Qiling whispered right next to his ear! Or it felt like it to him. He didn't think he would be able to sleep with how his heart was beating but, after a few minutes, the pats and the warmth from behind him made him fall asleep.
