Chapter 7

Third pov-
Everything seemed to go smoothly after wards as both sets met at the center.
"Tenzhen! Xiao ge!" Pang zi shouted and ran to them, hugging both his friends.

"Pang zi, we're fine." Wu xie answered, smiling warmly at his friend and his dramatic antics. "Did you guys encounter anything on the way in?" He asked the others.

"Just that this seems to be a tomb for a king." Chen yi answered looking at the room. "But there are two coffens."

"That's because it's for a couple. A queen and king of their dynisty. From what I could tell, the king had gone to war to protect his queen and people and ended up dying tragicly by the hands of their enemy. The queen having been left alone and depressed, cried and prayed to the gods. As if the gods where moved by her love, a flood came in and swept the enemy under, giving the queen a chance to get her revenge. Afterwards she built this tomb for her king to rest and she stayed by his side, leaving her people to stay with her love. The people protected the tomb and in a way their love for eachother too." Wu xie explained as he looked up to see everyone staring at him.

"My gosh, you are amazing." Chen yi exclaimed, clapping her hands.

"He could take your job." Baiyu chuckled as Yi long smiled.

"Hey, that's not fair. I mean, I got a little right." Chen yi pouted. Wu xie was about to ruffle the girls hair to cheer her up when Qiling grabbed his hand.

"Chen yi, you did well too." Yi long patted the girl as they watched the coffens.

"Wu xie... pat me, I did good." Qiling said letting his hand go. Wu xie chuckled and patted Qilings head.

"Yes, you did good. Come, let's look at the coffens." Wu xie walked as Qiling followed. Pang zi had already run around the whole room looking for treasure, which he hadn't found any.

"Where's the treasure." Pang zi grumbled as he stumbled towards the group.

'Click.'

"What was that?" Baiyu asked.

"Run." Qiling said, grabbing Wu xie and running towards the entrance.

"What's going on?!" Chen yi asked and looked back only to see a sliding door opening and water gushing through.

"Ahhh! Pang zi!!" Wu xie scolled the fat man as they ran but the water had reach to them.

"Take a deep breath." Qiling instructed. They all listened and tried to swim out.

"Mhmmhmmhhh." Wu xie tried to comunicate with Qiling who was looking at the locked stone gate. Qiling took out his sword and pushed it into the stone and pushed his fingers into a crease and the stone gate opened. The water gushed out as every one lay breathless.

"We're alive!" Chen yi was the first to talk.

"I can't believe we made it." Yi long whispered.

"This is really next level, is this a regular thing for you guys?" Baiyu asked.

"You won't believe it if I said this is actually the most normal raid we have been on." Pang zi laughed as the rest joined in, Qiling cracking a small smile as he watched his friends.
