2 days later Madelyns father Mateo gets a call from Theo
Theo smiles when he hears Mateo get on the phone, just thinking of telling him what his stubborn little girl tried to do only 2 days earlier made him feel so giddy with power and desire.
He was going to show her who was in charge.
"Hello there, mr Genovese " Theo said in a charmingly cocky tone, it was always a pleasure talking to a powerful person such as Mateo
Theo knew he could always pull strings on people, especially those with daughters.
"Well, I do need something." He said with an amused tone in his voice, he was going to play this all the way through.
"You know your precious daughter I'm supposed to be marrying, yes?
"uhm actually Theo, my daughter has expressed she does not want to marry you and I'm not going to force her" he says in a thick Italian accent
"Interesting." He replied sarcastically, he'd expected this from her father.
He had to pull out the 'trump card' if he wanted this to go his way.
If he couldn't get the girl then he'd get the father.
"You probably know who my father is, correct?" He says calmly, an edge to his voice that implied a threat.
"yes me and your father have been friends for many years" Mateo says
"I see, now I'm sure you're aware of what kind of power my family has." He says, his confidence oozing out of every word he's saying.
"Let me cut to the chase...if you don't make your little Angel marry me, I'll make sure your businesses burn to the ground..."
Mateo is speechless "is this a threatening me?"
He let his voice soften as he leaned back in his seat.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, it's simply an ultimatum." He said, his tone full of confidence.
His voice had an edge to it that made it sound like an order rather than a threat.
"Will you let me marry your daughter or not?" He says, with an almost condescending tone of voice that screamed power.
"ok Theo, you have got your way, my daughter will marry you" he says while hanging the phone up
He smiled, his smug smile turning into a devilish grin.
His plan was so easy and he couldn't wait to get that little angel alone to finally tear her down.
The thought of having her, finally made his ego grow even more.
It was only a matter of time before he had the little angel back in his hands and he already knew what he'd do when that happened.
3 days later and Theo wanted to have dinner with Madelyn
