He stared deep into her eyes searching them for any hint that she really wasn't lying to him.

He noticed the stutter and realized that she may be hiding something from her so he leaned in closer to ask one more time.

"I'll ask you again, is there something you're hiding from me?"

Madelyn tried not to make eye contact and didn't say anything

The fact that she refused to make eye contact and stayed silent made him even angrier.

His grip on her wrists tightened.

"You are hiding something from me. I want to know what it is, NOW."

"you're hu...hurting me" She stutters out

He noticed the stutter again she was definitely afraid of him.

"Good." He says with a satisfied smirk, it pleased him to hear her afraid of him.

"I'm asking you one more time, what are you trying to hide from me?"

He kept his grip on her wrists but he loosened it just a little bit, he wanted to squeeze the answer out of her.

"not...nothing"

He tightened his grip slightly again and leaned in closer.

"Tell. Me. The. Truth."

"it's nothing Theo" she says trying to move away

He held her there and refused to let her move away.

He stared her in the eyes and saw how scared she was, he loved it.

"Last chance."

she didn't reply just looked at him like she was going to cry

He stared deep into her eyes until she started to tear up and he saw just how afraid she was of him.

The thought of her crying over him made him feel a bit bad, but the satisfaction was too great for right now.

"Tell... me."

"I..I told you its nothing" she says

He didn't believe her for a second.

He wouldn't let her get away with keeping this secret from him, he wanted to know the truth and he wasn't just gonna let her get away with lying to him.

"Liar..."

"you're a liar just like you're father" he burst ours "like..like my father?" She asked super confused

He stared at her angrily, how dare she bring up his father! Why could she not just answer his question and admit she was hiding something?

"Yes like your father." He said before he let go of her wrists and smacked her across the face.

she was so surprised by the slap she immediately brought her hand to her face flinching at she touched her now red face a tear ran down her face as she looked at the man who slapped her, the man that was supposed to be her husband, a man she could trust and love

He didn't feel bad about hitting her at all, if anything he felt good about it.

He wanted her to know who the boss of this relationship was and slapping her to make his point clear was a good way to do that.

He watched as a tear ran down her face before he spoke.

"Stop crying."

she took her glasses off and started wiping away her tears

He watched her wipe away her tears with her glasses off as he smirked seeing her try to wipe away the tears without really seeing them.

She really was pathetic, so reliant on her stupid glasses to function.

He knew that she was trying to not appear vulnerable but he hated how stubborn she was being so he spoke again.

"Stop."

she put her glasses back on and looked up at him staring in his eyes her hands were shaking and she was tapping her foot other and other again on the ground he could tell she was scared

She looked so vulnerable and afraid but the way that she was looking into his eyes was making him feel something, he hated feeling vulnerable but her eyes were so pretty...

He looked away and snapped back into reality because he couldn't let himself be fooled into showing any form of weakness.

When he looked back it was in a cold and serious tone.

"You still haven't answered my question."
